3. what are your pings to www.bbc.co.uk?
1. Yeah I am using OGERO
2. no it was not that email, it was the same email posted here to get router access
3. Now, depends on the routes but to bbc.co.uk i got 75 ms now, for 8.8.8.8 I got 54ms
info@oger.gov.lb?
hey guys just like to inform everyone out there, I sent 2 emails to ogero
1. info@ogero.gov.lb
2. helpdesk@ogero.gov.lb
the email contained the following message
"Hi I would like to turn off the Interleaving on my DSL 2mb plan. my dsl number is L******
Sent from Windows Mail"
They never replied but today (1 day later) i ran CS:GO and LoL pinged www.bbc.co.uk and my ping is now stable at 70ms. It dropped down to 62 for a while went back up.
I checked my modem's Stats and what i got is

So for the guys who got a good SNR and Attenuation go ahead and do it, for those with the higher speed connections watch out. The quality of my line did drop but its more than good enough for a 2mb plan.
Cheers <3
Do you think my stats are good enough to disable it as well? Keep in mind I haven't received the 2mb update yet so I'm still at 1mb

Are you sure? Isn't my line attenuation bad at 63?

how do i check for this guys? my connection would be perfectly stable and then just time out for about 10 minutes
This is what I got from cyberia when I requested to switch off interleaving, I have complained before about sometimes when I get a bad latency at night and it seems that it got better and it just happens for small amounts of time. However they said that interleaving would increase latency not decrease it.
Thank you for contacting Cyberia Support.
Please note that switching off the interleaving is not recommended as it increases the delay (latency) of your connection by up to 50ms, and this can adversely affect some delay-sensitive applications such as certain online games, which in your case is the main issue.
On the other hand, please be informed that the slowness issues and high pings you are experiencing are related to occasional saturation on a major transmission link in your area.
Unfortunately, no timeframe is specified for this issue, and currently we do not have control on it. Meanwhile, we are doing our best to minimize the impacts of this problem and hopefully these problems will be solved soon.
Moreover, we would like to inform you also that your account is already adjusted in a way to meet the best online gaming experience possible.
Is it possible to change my DSL type from ITU-T G.992.1 to G.992.5 annex A? If it is then how?

A friend of mine got the same answer, even the same sentences when he asked IDM to do that....
Very weird
thats bullshit

Open CMD with Administrator privileges and then type what's written below:
telnet 192.168.1.254 (or whatever default gateway your router is set as.. you can check that in CMD by typing ipconfig /all )
user: [enter user]
password: [enter password]
xdsl debug multimode config=t1.413issue2+g992.5_annex_a
Usually 992.1 has better ping overall, but that's the case for me and some friends here but here's what you requested anyway.

All thanks to turning off interleaving

Thanks buddy, and assuming I want to switch back to 992.1, is the following correct?
xdsl debug multimode config=t1.413issue2+g992.1
hkbazzi I sent the emails(for the 2 of them) 24hours ago but nothing happened :s how many hours did you wait exactly
a day it was done i suppose
Why does my ISP say that?
i am with ogero, shouldn't it say LibanTelecom?
http://www.speedtest.net/result/4504966679.png
It seems that ogero is using some kind of satellite backbone.
I could be wrong however.
