It took me 3 months to switch from Cyberia to Sodetel.

I applied for a relative of mine online with Ogero about a year ago, no one ever called him, a month later he went to the central and asked for his application they told him they have nothing, he applied again in person and they processed his request, maybe it was a coincidence but with a company like Ogero I would go in person I don't trust anyone checks the online requests.

Haha! Yeah I saw their online applications but it feels like it's done just for the looks of it. Best thing is to go to their offices the old style way.
@Aly
Do you remember how long it took them to wrap things up and finally came and install the DSL at your relatives place ?!
Maybe I had some luck, I applied for sodetel for 1 month and nothing happened, when I applied to OGERO it was on wednesday, and after three days Saturday, they came and installed the DSL.
when I applied, they came after 3 days precisely, you just need a "wasta"

less than a month, unlike all other private ISPs, Ogero dont keep you waiting too much.
Also my sister has blink DSL and her husband knows someone in ogero he came the very next day and they installed it. (wasta in this case)
Hello
I am with ogero and I have a ping >200ms (4mbs plan)
Is it normal?
Do I have to call ogero?
Uhmm well the unlimited night traffic adds up to normal consumption meter or ? How should I know how much I consumed during non-unlimited night traffic times ( before 12am ) , I'm getting a bit confused ..
@JasonFly
if you're ping is >200ms then there's definitly something wrong ... Ogero is known for their stable internet and good ping so it's either your router or your centrale so yeh I think you should call them
get a network monitor gadget for your desktop, tells you the net usage through a live graph, pretty neat
Anyone having problems with Ogero unable to connect ? PPPoE down ?
it's fine but the ping is >200
what does ping > 200 mean. is it bad ?? and why?
what does ping > 200 mean. is it bad ?? and why?
Ping = Latency = Delay <=> to the server (in-out), the least is the better...
100 ms is pretty decent ... > 230 ms is bad
(ms: millisecond)
just got Ogero installed, TG582n, telnet user/user is disabled, any rifaii is not answering requests anymore,
any idea on how to login
cheers
yea me too dp0001 I am trying everything to get into that router
No matter how many times I try... for the past few days I always get the same IP range which is 178.x.x.x
I used to get 63, 94, 77 and 83 as well... that's no longer the case. Can anyone confirm ?
Your feedback regarding the previous post is appreciated guys.
Are you still getting random IPs from several pools or is it now fixed to one IP range as it is for me ?
i'm still getting 94,63,178,77 as normal
Guys, is your IP public? Is it behind NAT?
Can outsiders ping to you ip?
Try this: http://ping.eu/ (click on ping, enter your ip address, if it ping, then its not behind ISP NAT, nor transparent proxy)
The IPs are public i once had a webserver and a cs1.6 server on my regular dsl subscription.
So is everyone getting 100 ms ping with ogero?
I would like to switch from sodetel. bas since it is a warcheh, and I need to send my dad to do the paperwork which he hates doing(but he is the phone owner) I want to make sure I will get what I want

Thanks, hope pings are still the same.
