Dude first it's 2004 (beginning 2004) and why do you have such a bad idea about cars in general ?
Check the VW EOS 2009 ... a very nice car with a GTI engine ( 22,000$ for a very clean one).

Finally I think I will get my first and true love...Citroen DS3!
BMW engine like the mini cooper one ;)
Also because its a very rare special car (DS line) I think it will not lose too much price as megane coupe will...
