  • how to know if the Satellite receiver is hd

i want to buy a hd receiver but i am confused between two receivers and if there is a difference. one costs 90$ and is called DC-5000 on the box it says full hd 1080 and also hd ready shouldn t be one of them not both, and the next one costs 200$ and it's brand is strong
please if you can help because i don t know nothing about receivers
If it says HD then it probably is.

I have a Strong 4902 HD receiver myself and I bought it for $140 like 4-5 months ago.
i am trying the starsat but the colors are showing very bad quality is this cause of the tv or receiver ? cause if it is so i change it for the strong
apart from HD receivers, did someone try the MBC HD receiver thing ? and how is the HD quality ? i mean is it 100% trueee?
