Beej wroteYes AvoK its V3 and to tell you the truth, i HATE it. I bought it because its cheap. I gambled with it as i wasnt sure it would fit the card. Also i have big hands and i couldnt connect anything so i had to remove the board and connect everything and put it back. Also this case has ZERO cable managment, i cant hide the cables anywhere, and the psu is not modular to help... Took me 3 days to get it done >.> (i finish work @ 10pm).
i love my v3
it has good airflow, its quiet, its cheap , and my cable management skills are pretty good .
most thermaltake cases are like that, weather its 55 or 200$, my friend had a M5 which cost him 120$
has no holes at ALL for cable managment, its very loud , cheaply built and its not worth the price AT ALL
a normal 20$ generic chinese case is better then that :P
but im very happy with my v3
also i would like to ask, does the frio fit well inside??or you can't close the side cover??
Shadio, dont check voltage from gpuz, as gpus have 3 voltages. You might want to check msi afterburner for volts, run Kombustor and check VDDC volts on the right. Or download nvidiainspector and u can view the values of these 3 volts, and change them. In anycase the DcuII 570 are known for low Vid to help cooling, thats why they dont oc much on stock volts. Ill check mine later.

@ Avo no the cooler fits nicely, though barley, but it doesnt touch the side panel. And you can see it through the glass.
Thanks alot beej! btw does anyone know were I can get crisis one and crisis warhead? i found crisis 2 at nino's but I cant seem to find the rest! I dont wanna play crisis 2 without finishing one! and i wanna c what all this hype is about on crisis since the second one has become dumbed down for consules
Well shadio, you can download the patch 1.9 along with dx 11 and high res pack and see what crysis 2 is all about ;).
in anycase you should find them at nino's if not you could ask him to make you a copy of both, and he will do it for you.
thanks alot beej btw check my system specs theyre almost identical to yours

Coolermaster sniper black edition
Inwin commander 750w
I7 2600K oc'd to 4.0ghz 1.18v
Intel dp67bg
1tb WD caviar black
Asus gtx 570 directcu ii Oc'd to 876/1752/2200
8gb kingston 1333mhz

Let me know what you think
Thats great system you got ther, BUT :P my oc is higher on the gpu. I have not tinkered yet with cpu. Also why do all people like rams.... Too much ram = more density = heavy on the IMC = less overclock = more volts...
Just get 4g and your set, unless you use cad/maya/3dmax alot.
But yea systems are alike except for cpu.
BeeJ i think i have a problem with my gpu am getting 15avg fps on Crysis on 1280x720 with no anti lasing and latest drivers do you have any idea what could it be!
There is definitly somthing wrong...
Try to reisntall the drivers again, it might help. Also check nvidia control panel, it might be doing some aliasing or v-sync for you. And turn v-sync off.

Also in nvidia control panel, go to power options and choose max performance, instead of adaptive. Also run msi after burner and check your gpu clocks, your card might be underclocking.

It has to underclock pretty far to reach 15FPS in crysis at 720p :P I think it may be underclocking to 2D mode and not low power 3D. I used to have a problem with underclocking to low power 3D and I solved the issue by installing the latest driver THEN going to Rivatuner, Power user, Rivatuner \ NVIDIA \ Overclocking and clicking on EnablePerfLevelForcing and setting its value to 1. This forces 3D clocks at all times. If the problem does not arise anymore, disable this feature so that the card can underclock and save power and lower heat output.

whats your system and powersupply?
@ yasmoka.. Thats what i mean >.>
I sovled the problem turns out that my copy of crisis was screwed up.. am getting around an avg of 55-60fps on 1360x768 with very high settings and 8x AA enabled.

I couldnt overclock my card past 870mhz (used asus smart doc) :( i dunno why any tips beej?

as for the RAM your right about having excessive ram but I felt that 8gb is the standard these days...

Beej can we SLI the gtx 570 DCUII i dont think 2 would fit in the mboard so am a bit pissed hehe!

Thanks alot for the quick responses guys
I got this board specifically, though it was my only option :P, so that it fits 2x dcuII cards. You see the spacing is pci-e x1,x16,x1, pci,16x... There is 2 free slots between the first pci-e and the second, so its 3 slots. Yes it does fit, but temp wise will be much higher. If you sli, i suggest putting a small plastic or rubber spacer between the 2 cards to allo more air flow.

About the oc, crysis is one of the most sensetive game to overclocks. It might be unstable oc, up the volts a little bit an your good to go.
SInce ram are getting cheaper, yes the standard is 8gb, but only because ram are cheaper. No game whatsoever use more than 2g (on its own). Maximum games i saw that requires system rams are crysis (1210mbs) and metro, maybe stalker too i dunno. So 4g is plenty.

Crysis 2 uses 2GB according to my task manager. Give Windows 7 2GB for the smoothest performance and you're already at 4GB. So 8GB is still a good decision. I have 6GB by the way. And it seems that the trend for games is for increasing RAM demands, along with VRAM.
