MW3 vs. BF3

I wonder how someone could play an FPS game on a PS3... Isn't it too damn hard to control?

Anyway, when is MW3 coming out? I would certainly be interested in trying it out.

well first of all its a question of taste really, myself im a pc gamer and CANNOT play on console (knowing that i actually own a 360)... some people just got used to console gaming..
and about MW3 its supposed to be coming out in november 8th just like every other COD game that we had before, all of them were out in the beginning of november.

i usually prefer MW gameplay and movement, but considering that the games are not out yet, we really cnt decide from now about what you shoold get.. what i usually do is just wait for the games to come out, play both to see which gameplay i prefer and then get the game. so just wait for the release and you try both yrself and dnt trust game reviews too much. ssometimes they look for some things in games that we sometimes dnt.

anyway if you wanna have less thinking in this just get both lol

BF3 is way ahead of MW3. MW3 is more or less built around MW2 while BF3 seems to be all-new and much more realistic.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Have you guys seen the tank battle footage from BF3? They call in A10s to glaze some camp! Wicked Awesome!

Battlefield 3 all the way...MW3 will be just another shooter, and just another "slightly improved" COD game. Just go to the Battlefield channel on youtube and watch all gameplay vids they have there, trust me we've never seen a shooter like this yet...

But it will get a 9.5 Editor's Choice on GS......(MW3)

Speaking about controls, personally prefer to play FPS on a PC, but knowing how demanding they are to the hardware, and at the same time my relatively small hands couldn't handle the fast button presses to reload, equip.... So on a console they are much easier for me.

Of Course GS will give it en Editor's Choice, they'd put the score now if they can...

@ Kareem, I know console suits you better cause u say u have smaller hands, but even so, it wont make it any lesser of an experience, I've had most fun playing BFBC2 on PS3 and had no problems with controls or anything, for PC it doesn't take a "pro" to handle shooting :p

I dont know but maybe full on 100% grip of the DualShock 3 keeping me in control feels better :P.

Hamboza are you planning to get it for PS3? Cause I am.

I hope either NINO or Rony will get it Region 2 at least :D

for now i getting it on PC, cause i have the rig to play it awesomally! But if enough of my friends get it on PS3, then I might have to get it there.

We all know the lead platform for EA is the PC. I sincerely hope the console versions and particularly the PS3 one has great graphics and playability.

Speaking about COD, having played it on 360, I would say that you cannot compare MW series and the others (world at war, black ops)
Black Ops is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than MW
BF3 is okay but I'd rather play COD
Plus the graphics in COD are much better as well as the handling, story etc

it's as if you're saying you already played BF3 and MW3 :/

I think we should all wait and when they're out.. we'll give them a try for ourselves and compare to see what there is to compare ;)

Black Ops is inferior in every way to MW2, unfortunately.

I used to be a die-hard CoD fan, but seriously, it is starting to feel like they are milking the fan base and I'd rather switch to this very promising BF3 then be ripped off with another CoD game that has mediocre storyline and different multiplayer maps.

many find it mediocre (the storyline) but i personally enjoyed it. its still a question of taste man.
i for one hate battlefield, hated bad company 2, hated battle field 2, battle field 3 looks promising yes, very promising as well, but i wont lie i still favor call of duty, but as of which is best we really cannot know till its out.

as of the MW2 being better than BO on ps3 yr right in saying taht, too bad the game wasnt properly finished like it was promised.. i think a fellow member here (The MMMs) can personally rely on that :P (personal bad experience lol)

COD4MW and CODMW2 are just awesome, I still play the missions. BF2 and BFBC are alright; BFBC has the best gun sounds among any FPS game I've ever played. COD Black Ops had a dizzy storyline and was more related to real history (I don't like that, I prefer they come up with a fake story with the bad guys being from the country of who knows who). Medal of Honor is a good game as well; they tried to imitate CODMW2's action, and they did it alright. COD Black Ops is in the bottom of the list. Hope they come up with something interesting in MW3 (something like you play being the juggernaut and 50 enemies shooting at you :P ). BF3 seems to be promising.

Personally i still dont see why does Hideo Kojima himself recommend BF3. Hamboza shared this news with me yet i am still asking myself why would a story telling guru get involved in an FPS. Knowing this genre doesn't have a good story.
