I'm not really sure it is related to whatever is called sea cable... on 3G the ping is 90ms to google stable and download rate is above 2mbps. How on earth can that happen ? If only Ogero can answer that... go figure.
well not true here. im on 3G too and ping is above 400ms and packet loss is ~30%
Sodetel here, I just came back home, ping to Google is 400 ms with a lot of timeouts, browsing is almost dead, the only option left is to go to sleep.
This is unbearable, technical difficulties with the IMEWE 3 times in the same week ? I am not buying it anymore, and every time they say its from France's side which I doubt too.
Not in my case, I am testing it and tethering and works great, 0% packet loss which makes me believe its a problem with the local infrastructure...
we wont rest from these problems unless optic fibers are used..
same here with IDM, packet losses 30% to 50%, slow browsing.. some websites are not loading like speedtest.net
Terrible performance from TerraNet the whole day. Currently getting around 40% packet loss. What's going on?
samer wroteTerrible performance from TerraNet the whole day. Currently getting around 40% packet loss. What's going on?
imewe cable is malfunctioning, all isps are effected
Edit: our connection to imewe is bad
i dont know what is wrong with the internet but its very strange thing!

this is my speed, yet i was able to download using torrent at full speed!

if you go to youtube to play a video it would take hours to load but open facebook and play a video thats uploaded to facebook it will load up very fast. same goes to Google+ where i was able to watch 720p videos without buffering!

the thing is that the common between all these websites that they use SSL encryption
Now it's back to normal, i'm sodetel.
Just got upgraded to 1mbps in Damour!
EDIT: now it is back to 255kbps as seen on the modem's setup page. How would they downgrade it? Odd!

I have 2mb from Terranet, really decent for online gaming, but horrible after 12 midnight ... I mean really really horrible.
guys whats wrong with IDM and filesonic.com !!
That download site wont open !!
The site opens with error message that my IP is blocked due to certain unknown action !!
They seem they are using proxy !! Crappy IDM !

Any IDM user can try it plz ?
Same. IDM is really frustrating these days, without the double speeds at night and now this.
you guys got punked I am still with ogero but they still haven't upgraded my plan

When did you request the upgrade? I have called Ogero as I'm connected to Bir Hassan and they said new speed is still not available !
