  • Any Job listing for a 16 year old?

First i hope that asking this question is permitted here .

Is there any job listing for a 16 year old living in Fanar , that knows About Movies/Videogames.
Cinemas won't take anyone under 18 , so is there any job for someone under 18 in a DVD shop, or Videogame shop or anything like that . I can work in Ashrafieh, and Metn.

Legally, you can't be employed underage, but that doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't find work. I'll keep an eye out.

Guys it is a summer job! A part time job for the summer. I intend on continuing my education .
I don't about dvd shops but try looking in the local mini markets, my friend is working in one and he's 16.
Unfortunetely, here in Lebanon it's illegal to employ someone under 18 (summer job or not). However, it being Lebanon, you can still find some shops willing to employ 16 year olds. Rana Shmeitilly has recently opened a new branch of "The Little Engineer" in Achrafieh, I'll ask her if she's looking for programmers (you don't need background, she'll provide the training). It's really easy to learn NXT programming and it's Lego Mindstorms and other basic electronic kits, good summer job if you like teaching kids.
I can teach you the basics of networking or bartending ... you choose
in both domains you will meet amazingly stupid people..but in bartending you are able to rip them off

Looks like Mrs. Shmaitelly is picky about her staff, she only recruits undergrads with an engineering or computer science major.
