Prototype is just a prototype. Nokia might abandon android and stick with WP7 and MeeGo.

the hardware of the phone is identical to the n9 and identical to nokia sea ray,maybe:
-they will announce this device next year if their wp7 phones won't make a hit.
-there is really a nokia android phone(although Steven Elop said that they won't make an android phone).
-It's fake,just an image or a photo shop thingy...
but there are two reasons that makes these images true ones,1st:the website that posted these images is the same one that posted pics. of nokia's first WP7 phone back in may,the second reason is that every nokia prototype is C0-00 (look ate the top-left side of the phone)

Its a prototype. They admitted they tested Android before deciding on WP7 because Microsoft allowed them to customize the OS much more than Google would have.
So it exists, doesn't mean its going to come out
That said, the Meego N9 is gorgeous and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

i still have my n900, and i was thinking lately to change it seeming as though Nokia dropped support for it, or i can just wait for the Nitdroid project to pick along and become complete with full support, or heck maybe even a Meego port to the n900 if that is even possible
Hate it when nokia does this, instead they'd rather hide behind their symbian and ovi store :/

1- those are the pics of N9 running NITDroid
2- MeeGo IS going to be dropped after N9 regardless of it's market performance
3- i have multiboot MeeGo/NITDroid/Maemo on my n900 and all working pretty fine (please note: they ARE a BIT slower than Maemo)
4- the purpose of NITDroid is to run on the NEXT nokia device not n900 ( ergo, the N9)
5- i applied for the N950 *fingers crossed* it's the same as N9 but for developers, there is limited quantity, the n950 comes with a physical qwerty and finally
6- MEEGO > ANDROID > iOS (H) ...
