m.sabra wrotejust called Alfa and credits will not accumulate that's stinks

although in the website they have said this only happen when you change from a plan to another so if you recharged every month with the same plan (the 9$ plan for example) credits should accumulate that's what i have understand from the website (maybe the person that i talked with doesn't know what's i am talking about :P )
If the previous user said that on MTC , the credit will accumulate then how about Alfa not doing this? Plus, did anyone see these cards in the market or they are not available yet ( June 15 expected availability) but i have never seen them till now.!
yes i have never seen them in the market yet.
but i believe that there was a miss understood between me and the staff member that i have talked with so i believe he thinks that i was talking about if i am gonna lose my credits when changing my plan.
because on the website they mentioned that you will only lose credits when changing your plan and also they have said during retention period your credits will be Frozen so they will probably unfroze and accumulate when you recharge this is why they used the term "frozen"
so when i see those card in the market i will switch to the 9$ plan and recharge with the same plan (9$) the next month and see if the credits will accumulate.
Yes seems to be a misunderstanding.
Anyway, do these new plans consider your credit as $ or as minutes left. And the most important question, are the minutes counted as minutes exactly or like a 1:10 min call is considered two minutes? Thanks.
your credits will be visible as $ and not munutes left.
and they are still stuck with the old system so 1:01 = 2:00 min
oh and your welcome :D

Shame on them! If this was considered as the time you talk=the time you consume , this would be the best solution ever. Bunch of stealers.

Welcome to Lebanon
Is it me or are actually the shops selling them for almost double the price? I've checked 3 stores successively, and they all have the lowest 15000 mtc card for almost 25000/27000. wtf? Am I missing something here?

Whattt!? Do you mean the cards Waffer and the other ones are priced like this ? Please recheck because i can't believe what you are saying! :(
I'm definitely sure, and really confused at the same time. Anyone else can confirm?
well, that's its price,

on the MTC site they say it costs $13.64 without VAT, so it's like $15 with VAT which is around 23,000 LL, and you know the Lebanese will round it, so it's 25,000

Absolutely brilliant.

no it's not the $15 is the price of the new sim card
the price of recharging card is (including vat) is : 15000 L.L - 25000 L.L - 45000 L.L
but shops will not sell you at those price. why ? you can ask them.

Ok all phone shops afford you the option to recharge only days or only $ or specific plans made by them so they recharge on card to more than one user.
so if everybody switched to the new plans they will be unable to sell dollars and days apart so they will try to stick you with the old prepaid because it's "arba7lon".
i can even bet that some shops will never bring the new recharge cards.
soo the alfa resellers (authorized) should have these new lines right? I am considering them since they are cheaper and i don't recharge more than 1 time per month.
yes the authorized resellers will give you the official prices (the cheap ones).

do their prices include Vat or no ?thanks
Just for clarification, you need to be during the active period( not in the 5 days) to change a plan ? My brother entered today the 5-day period and wants to change plans. I told him to go recharge days and then change his plans during these days. Isnt this better than waiting another new month ?
