kareem_nasser wroteI am going to comment about no SE announcements or Konami.
First Konami's conference was a pre-E3 show. Second we always say the same about Japanese developers and publishers though they have been the same for years, never release anything about a game even leaks until it is 90% completed. We have seen this with MGS4 and FFXIII, they only released teaser trailers, i personally like that because they are not rushing stuff like Western industry giants do.
Just ask yourselves: Why are Japanese video released with less(if not any) bugs than the Westerners? concentrate on third parties.
It's true the Japanese don’t like to spoil their games by excessively showing them to the public before getting close of achieving gold status, they invest a lot of time ( FFXII? GT5? Versus XIII?) to develop games - but then again we know how Japanese devs spew much of an attention of detail in their games. Though, they'll likely to show the goods at their very own TGS like every year.
As for Nintendo, I really am not sure if it’s a marketing ploy by gathering “M-rated third-party support”, or much like every recent game console they launched, probably they’ll end up left with their very own AAA in-house titles. Much like SEGA with the Dreamcast, but Nintendo is rich enough to not go bust.
Anyway, not much of shocking announcements in this year's E3, the media is spoiling a lot of stuff way before the major unveils take place. So, yeah imo E3 doesn’t really have that vibe it used to boast some 5-6 years ago - way too leaks if you ask me.
Most exciting bit was the PS Vita pricing, can’t wait to see the ridiculous '$600+' price tags in Leb retailers
