Install Samsung Kies on your PC,attach the phone to the PC,you should found something like firmware update or anything like that in Samsung Kies,press it to update.

i really cant understand how can people hold phones of brands like LG and SAMSUNG , i mean id feel like holding a washing machine, these two companies are well known to manufacture electrical home appliances , why do they stick their nose into the phones market , on the other hand , HTC , i truly respect this company , they made it up from a behind-the-doors manufacturers for other companies( such as i-mate and american companies and google) , to one of the world best android and windows phone mobile makers , the difference is they specialize , the only difference between them and samsung is that samsung offers better display (but lower resolution) because sasmsung is the world leader right now in screens innovation , the galaxy s2 is slightly better at display than the sensation , camera almost the same , in few aspect htc is better and in others samsung is , i held the gs2 the other day , feels cheap , not so great in the hand and VERY VERY SLIM , you wont feel like your holding a phone in your hand , and you might panic sometimes and feel like its lost , unlike the sensation its amazing in the hand .

Sensation is a pure beauty in the hand, metal and shiny screen is so nice!
Rubber feeling in the back is way better than the ''Dalco plastic toys'' of the sgs2 ;)
Also I won about 4 additional meters of Wifi reception with Sensation, GPS is 3x faster too

i've had the sgs2 for about 2 weeks now. my bro got the sensation 2 days ago. comparing the 2 phones, the difference in displays is night and day really. the samsung is much sharper. i noticed his phone lags even though its brand new with no market apps installed yet. the device did come with alot of apps though. i noticed it uses ALOT of ram and gets left with around 150mb of free ram despite everything being close, making the device laggy when scrolling between screens even with animations off. no lags on my sgs2 with alot of widgets on screens. the wifi coverage is not so good on the sgs2 though and the battery drains fast.will last 10 hours at best with average use. touchwiz is fine although i would like to get into rooting,overclocking and downloading custom roms.

You are not limited by the stock rom(software), a Sensation with custom rom is WAY faster,no lags and snappier than stock!
You can't say for an Android phone that it's slow or laggy based on its old stock rom, you have to root it and use one of the latest rom and you will see the hell of a difference in all domains: battery,speed,camera,ram,gps,wifi...
sgs2 screen feels more vivid yes but its colors are not natural, they are too warm and the qHD resolution of the Sensation is better and more detailed

I know its not a nokia.but most who purchase these phone look for stock for stock comparisons and from what ive seen the sgs2 does better. warm or not the screen is beautiful to look at. i have yet to try video playback on qhd though. my bro doesnt have a clue about roms or rooting so hes always stuck with 150mb free ram.maybe i willl try updating his firmware but for now i am busy trying to figure out what version to chose for mine.i sent you an email.hope you can help.thanks

I did man. the phone entered a boot loop.i just need help with choosing what firmware to download for my phone and what insecure kernel to use that matches my build number. cm7 seems to be more reliable on 2.3.3 so maybe its better not to upgrade.what do you think? my phone info

You have to flash first the clockwork recovery file using Odin, then root it , then wipe, then flash MIUI which is better than CM7. Oh and use ADW launcher once you install MIUI if you want full customisable eye candy UI

I went to microage today, what a disappointment, the sensation is for 800$. 16 GBs Class 4 USB is for 80$.
I mean how the F can they sell it for 250$ more! How can HTC Let this happen!
I would buy it if it is 100$ more but 250$ is just too much.

i have been reading all your posts and i say they were so much much useful because i already bought htc sensation from amhaz store and everything is great with it except that it doesn't support arabic language i figured out that the software was made for singapore but yesterday i went to HTC solutions in Ashrafieh ant i had an upgrade to the software for ME and now it is gr8 and to say a word of truth i decided to keep intouch with these people because they were gr8
