No - not backed by any corps - imho this was the problem - it was not grassroot
and i guess having different types of ppl lobbying in different ways for the same thing doesn't hurt.
Having different ways is important. could u immagine broadband manifesto with a snail as logo and press don-key on the main page ?
What will you do different?
Different is that we will involve all targets, all age ranges, "ontornet" gives a hint of how popular we want the thing to get, things will be 100% transparent and 0 fishy, no political affiliation with any side, it will be collecting data working by the proofs and guarantees.
and of course it is all about how many geeks who really understand the subject are working and involved in this (explains the post here)
