Weird, because on the box, it CLEARLY says: "HTC Incredible S", I mean its part of its name isn't it ? Anyways did any one ask for the price of the Incredible at Amhaz ?

Wow forget about the Incredible S, the SE Arc price dropped again to 620$, 60$ in one week it's huge!!

Vegetaleb, i need to ask you, you know how HTC has its own market, would the android apps there would on any other android or are they HTC scripped ? by the way, i don't really like how the Arc looks like, i was always attracted to Htc's designs more than anything else

I called the showroom to know what's the color of the Arc, he said its black and they sold them all, tomorrow they will get some pieces again!
I hope so because someone is gonna buy my N1 tonight, I don't want to stay without a phone more than 24h

i didn't get it yet, im gona get it in easter. vegetaleb, wait a week more, because it is guaranteed that the Arc's price is gona go down even more. Android is playing the competitive game, amazing hardware, top selling software, best prices.
Nokia is deep deep deep coma right now, i second you vegetaleb, honestly "haram" they were top on the selling list a year ago. I hope they don't switch their Os to windows mobile because they will then go even more down than they already are.
By the way, check out "Alien Dalvik" its a software that will be available VERY SOON; you would be able to download it on iOS and Symbian; what it does is allow you to run almost all android apps. So then, you would be able to run android apps on your nokia, and that's actually good for android since they want to expand their market.

Explain to me something, i just saw a youtube video review of Incredible S and they had it side by side with Desire HD (which i believe is almost a year older than incredible S ?). And it seemed like they are exactly similar bar the screen and an extra base app. The desire HD even outperformed incredible S slightly.
What am i missing?

No way the DHD can be better than IncredibleS unless you preffer the 0.2'' more but here are the things where IS is better:
-Weight: 160g for DHD vs 135g for IS
-Battery is better
-Picture quality is better because of the pixel per inch ratio
-Sense UI 2.2 and later 3.0 while DHD is 2.0
-Support for Os 2.4 will be implemented for IS but not DHD

there is no much difference between the two phones because not so long ago the DHD was released i believe it was decmeber last year so 5 months or so. the second gen android powered htc phones are coming this summer EVO 3D and pyramid

That's why I am getting the Arc as a transition phone before getting a dual core phone in autumn, anyway the OS 2.4 which will support dual core will not be out before July, using now dual core phones is like using a X64 CPU on a PC with windows 32bit ;)
In september not only OS 2.4 will be surelly out but we will have a larger choice of dual core, Pyramid,Evo 3d, Desire 2X...
If I am selling my N1 now to get an Arc it's because I am bored of the hardware that's all

i advise you to read some review of the SE arc, from what i seen in reviews that the phone is good but it lags because of custom UI SE implements and that the screen does not have deep black levels, other than that its got really gd camera and you get 2.3 out of the box

You get lags if you use SE launcher but once you use another launcher like ADW it 10x faster.
Samsung Galaxy S suffered the same thing with Touchwiz UI but you just have to install ADW which is way better looking btw and voila :)

Fadi007, 1gb of memory is way more than enough for your temp files, all the rest could be stored on microSD, its a win win situation, cheaper for customer, simpler for the company..

the HTC sensation looks amazing. I was hoping for a GSM EVO 3D but this phone looks great and the release date is set for May :) so a month or so and it would be available.
