battikh wroteAnd about the price, are you familiar with the supply and demand concept? What would happen if they lower the price? More demand. More customers = more customers sharing the same amount of total bandwidth = even
Allah Ma3o el Micro Economics ;) - it's nice to see a structured educated answer :)
like to add that as price increases though, the
Quantity Demand will ALSO decrease - people will stop demanding anything since poor income, coupled with poor expectations will lead me to jsut not buying anything after all in the end i.e. ok im paying 40$ for 512, then 70$ for 1 mb/s - and i know this will never change to be cheaper so why upgrade?
In such a case, in CIVILIZED countries we have a little something called substitutes ... all substitutes here are as worse as the ISP in question i.e. Ogero - so back to square one.
battikh wroteYou can do whatever you want to target ISPs, at the end of the day, there is nothing they can do. They don't have hidden bandwidth that they're keeping away from customers
Although this is true, they do have the means to set everything up - everything is avaiable they just have to connect everything - i'm sure they've already made crap loads from heavy bandwidth users already.
battikh wroteBlaming the 1st person that comes to your mind is not constructive, in this case, ISPs can't do much, the main problem is no from their side
I agree here totally. And all this nonsense DDoS and what not - seriously, if you do that then imagine the problems we will have back in return
Please someone correct me if im worng here (im still quite unclear how this works) but when it comes to ISP's
IN LEBANON does it work in some what of a Legal Monopoly ? That being Ogero hence the GVT owns it all and in respect controls all the rest ? - this is the problem here, if you want it to change then we'd somehow have to "overthrow" the first established and basiaclly ONLY "respectable" telecommunication company in Lebanon - hmmmmmmmmmm, NO.
Im definately not voting this year / or whenever it is again -
heik heik mittil illita aslan.
