Yes in Lebanon and it never dropped a call with me till now because of an antenna issue. It drops a call when other phones drops too, when there is no signal.
For people complaining because the UI of their Android in not fast or whatever just change the Launcher or Rom, pay a visit to XDA because an Android without playing with roms is like an iphone without jailbreak ;)
Samsung Galaxy S with stock rom Touchwiz scores 1000 in benchmark but when using Cyanogen 6 rom it reach up to +2200 which is a HUGE difference

i think he mennt tweaking the roms on android unlocks its potentials just like jailbreaking unlocks some of the iphone potentials.
Haidcar is right, the biggest thing that seduced me in Android is the fact that I never get bored of the system because there tons of custom roms available made by very competent devs.
In Nexus One for exemple you have 5 main rom categories:
-Stock like : based on stock rom with extra options like trackball alerts,720p video recording...
-MIUI : Build by a team of Chinese and German, it has a very fast menu and look like iphone menu/icons.
-Sense roms : ported roms from Desire with HTC UI
-Desire HD : yep ported rom from Desire HD with Sense 2.0
-Gingerbread roms build over Cyanogen CM7

Personally I don't have a preffered one but I use MIUI and HD and sometimes Desire rom.
oh and when using MIUI I use ADW Launcher because I win the speed of the rom + editable Android look
On the nexus s ADW is so slow compared to the stock launcher. Slow in terms of animation and scrolling it is just not responsive enough
Have you decreased the scroll speed ms in the ADW settings??
You should decrease not increase in ms speed and you will see a huge difference:
ADW settings/Screen preferences/Desktop scrolling speed/ then set it between 140 and 250
