LOL: Is loaded with kids these days. It requires some skills, but its mainly if your winning your winning, and if your losing your losing. 10% of all the games you've played will you have a VERY fun and match changing game.

HON: A friend has played it and he said its nice and fun.(haven't tried it yet)

DOTA: Well we don't need an introduction to the very first MOBA, but blizzard is doing a there own DOTA game. Its been over a year and they haven't released it, and not the mention DOTA is more harder then LOL.

Dota/HoN are harder than LoL because nearly everything is overpowered and unbalanced. I find LoL more fun than both HoN and Dota. (I tried all 3, didn't just play few games I really tried the games)
In Dota 2 no hero is overpowered, the heores that you might think are overpowered at first are pretty much useless when you get far enough in the game, they actually become bottlenecks in games with experienced players and you can very easily counter them. When you to around level 20 you should have enough experience on what to do, and you would have favorite heroes that you play often, at this point the game becomes VERY strategic and more addictive.

As for all the other MOBAs, anyone who starts to play any will get hooked to the one and refuse to change, also graphics are very irrelevant in MOBAs because it is so gameplay intensive that you wouldn't even care about eye candy.
14 days later
Dota 2 :
Pros:
- A much better community than the other two games
- Tradable items to customize your hero that are dropped at the end of every game
- Can play on any region without changing accounts (unlike league)
- Great graphics
- Games are slower and more farm oriented (Not sure if you think that's a con or a pro)
- Doesn't ban you for leaving a lot of games like in LoL

Cons:
- A much higher learning curve especially if you haven't played the original Dota or a moba before (You WILL suck for a lot of your first games)
- More taxing on the internet connection (or it could just be me)
- The graphic style may not be right for everyone
- Delayed
- So many good skins you'll spend all your cash on it

League Of Legends:
Pros:
- Easy to learn but hard to master
- A good variety of champions that are very interesting
- Love the graphics (just my opinion, a lot of people do not)
- Makes you love the champions, I just don't feel that with Dota
- Brushes make for a lot of juking potential
- Competitive

Cons:
- Shitty community (Like seriously)
- Client is somewhat buggy
- You have to buy champions with IP (farmed by playing games, bad for people who want to instantly have access to everyone but good for people who want to pick up a champ and learn)
- So many good skins you'll spend all your cash on it
- It has "Teemo"

Heroes of Newarth:
The worst of the three, so crappy that I won't even bother talking about it (sorry <3)
Well we have the ability to buy champions both free and paid, and also there is a skin and champion sale every few days. Not to mention it being one streamed base.(The tables are rare to change)

It's a good thing they ban leavers in LoL, I was starting to get pissed because of all the leavers. At some point there was at least one leaver every 2 games. Which is a lot...

Haha, I agree and am glad that LoL bans leavers. The 2 games are so different, I don't see the point of comparing them honestly besides them being in the same genre. As for how Dota handles leavers I believe this is because of a different structure design of how teams are handled, I am no dota expert so I am just throwing that in the dark.
Opeth maluder i challenge you to a game of LoL summoner names please.

Haha, I gave up on competitive gameplay in LoL a long time ago, I simply suck now as i'm too used to aram ;)

But feel free to add me as this should be interesting, I play on EUNE, user name: zheavy

Will have to wait till at least next week though.
one on one varies on the champion you guys pick. If geekevo picks your counter, you lost. Be sure to settle on champions with the same line of specs.
