lol well we went back yesterday we got him down in 3 minutes from the first try ! well i guess the group i brought yesterday was retarded lol ! , but still man heroics in cataclysm are harder in many ways , i went to WOTLK heroics as soon as i hit 80 during these days and i had so much easy time doing them with my eyes closed , now it's different but different for the better :D

Did you forget the Fact You were running WotLK dungeons with people who had 9months+ Experience of the dungeons and Superior Gear ? :)
Again WotLK was NOT easier , it's just Being in Tier Gear and then doing an HC yeahhhhhhh you kinda can avoid most of the mechanics . And the same is happening/will happen to Cata , When you outgear an instance or a raid or anything , it;s just really not the HC that got nerfed/easier , it's you who got better Stats and go like " hum 'm doing tons of DPS , or Ummm can you guys hurry up ? i m getting bored not healing , pull more Or Ok guys i can handle the damage i ll aggro the whole room "

"Sigh" You would gain 2 emblems per day ( talking abt the Actual Gear ones and even those were ilevel inferior " as in the ones that drop from 10 mans " ) so let s see , 2 emblems per day if you re not raiding , a headpiece costed 60 Emblems , that's 30 days , and they re 5 pieces so that's 150 day or more like 120 since some cost 45 and even if you get those items by the time you get the whole set , guess what ? the new tier is out , and even the one you have is Inferior .
I'm not looking for the bad things to critic them , i'm just not being blinded by the shinies . The Game is Old , You might not see that cause you're a new player . Don't get me Wrong WoW remains a massive cultural phenomenon . But You cannot prove to me that the game has anything "new" to offer .
I'm Not Telling you To or not To play the game , But seriously Saying that Cataclysm is harder or different or Whatever is just Not True , You cannot put a different coating on something and then call it different .
WoW is still the best MMO on the Market , With 12 million subscribers according to the 2010 december charts , with a major difference of the second most played MMO which is aion with 3 million subs . So Yes i am not arguing with the Fact that WoW is still Standing On it's Throne , and yes if in 2011 WoW doesn't get "scratched" by the Triple A titles coming out , then i don't see anything touching it till at least 2013 when Project Titan is expected to release . And leaving you with this Quote " No King Rules Forever "

This is how it used to be, there were two types of emblems, Triumph and Conquest. You used to get 2 emblems of Triumph by doing the daily heroic quest, and you get emblem of conquest by killing the bosses in the dungeons. As Devaz said, the tier gear used to cost Triumph which was 232ilevel, Conquest were 226ilevel. There was no weekly raid or other. The big raid was ToC raid. Then the changes started taking place.
They:
- Removed conquest and lower badges (heroism).
- Added frost badges which buys you the 251ilevel tier.
- Added the LFG mechanism.
- Added the weekly raid.
- Removed the daily heroic quest and replaced it with a daily random heroic.
- Added ICC raid.
- Added 3 new dungeons, PoS, FoS, and HoR
But remember, all this time the old heroics remained the same dropping ilevel200 gear, HoR is like Cata, at first people used to fear it until they were in 251ilevel, then it was a cake.
Now whenever we do a random heroic in guild, we dont use cc lol. So yeah, Cata is turning out easier by the min.
