There were some sort of interference today, my Internet kept disconnecting, even phone calling was broken - I wasn't able to dial any number today afternoon, even messages failed to be sent. I'm not sure if someone else had this problem today.

Well my brother says he just heard this on the news 10 minutes ago:
"The telecommunications network was damaged today in the Metn and Beirut suburbs and they are working on fixing it."
Just so you guys know, before today I had been running very smoothly on DSL for the past 1.5 month.
No disconnections and no line problems. So I am almost certain the issues I am experiencing today are linked to the problem in the country.

Well same problem happened to me. The internet Led was off for like 15 - 20 min, i called them and they said " We're working on it ".

This is getting very annoying.
For the past week I have been constantly getting disconnected from the Internet between 17:00 and 19:00.
When this happens I notice my S/N down drops from 22db+ to 6dB.
What can the cause be ?
As I said before... I had some problems and then it was all fine and I had a great 1.5 months where my connection never dropped... until last Wednesday.
I am with Sodetel.
My brother (lives in the same house) but is an Ogero subscriber and has another phone line which is on a different "marja3" according to Ogero's technicians.... he experiences the same S/N margin drop when I do.
When my S/N is high ... his S/N is high ... and vice versa.

Absolutely no Internet tonight since 19:20.
Both DSL and Internet leds went off and I have yet to see the DSL led stabilize.
I am most likely canceling my Sodetel subscription tomorrow because I cannot just watch them sit there and do nothing when my problem is not a mere annoying disconnection anymore... but it has evolved to become a nightmare where I am paying for a service I am not even receiving.
My neighboor in the same building and my brother both are Ogero subscribers and have the same problem: our S/N Margin Ratio Down drops all the way from around 25dB to 6dB around 7:00pm... every night for the past week. It all started on Wednesday April 6th.
So even if my problem is not from Sodetel, at least if I subscibe with Ogero they will reply to me and have a reason to check my phone line.
Right now if I call Ogero or dial 1515 all they say is "Sir you are a Sodetel subscriber... ask them to raise the issue".
Guess what, Sodetel doesn't want to discuss the issue with Ogero and they said they have done all they can.
