Believe it or not , 1200 Watts is not overkill. At least you can rest assured that your PSU will handle the extra load if you want to go multi-GPU and multi Raid with OVERCLOCKing at the same time
But if you don't want to upgrade in future, a 800W will do just fine.

Yeah, my mistake i understood wrong, but NO i HATE the idea of over clocking anything, not the gpu not the cpu, i prefer getting good hardware that runs smoothly without needing to overclock.

the next 8 core Bulldozer will NOT be compatible with the AM3 chipset, and it will be using a AM3+ chipset...
if that's the case, then there won't be an advantage of getting AMD now.

i won't be having multi gpu at first, i think one gtx will be enough for starters, and that's why i am trying to get a mobo like the gigbyte ud9 or maybe ud7 that makes sure i can do that.

They are all the reference nvidia cards but the brands differ meaning warranty and stuff.
Zotac is an American brand and Inno3D is Taiwanese one. I have no idea what Manly-G is?

Just a little advice is to not buy AMD products in Lebanon because once a reseller told me that AMDs in Lebanon are different from any other area, so they are shit.

Whether the Bulldozer runs on the AM3 or the AM3+ chipset is irrelevant. AMD allows for forward and backwards compatibility. For example, AM2 sockets worked on the AM2+ chipsets with a mere BIOS update. The same with AM and AM+ chipsets. Of course, you won't be able to use the GPU-embedded CPU's. Those will be strictly AM3+. But you already have a better GPU and you don't need some crappy CPU GPU, so your dedicated CPU will work on AM3 with a BIOS update.

And the original cards are not sold. Nvidia sells the cards to companies and the companies customize them in terms of clocks, cooling solutions, and accessories. The size, technology, and everything else is kept the same since that is the graphics chip that Nvida built. Personally, I'd go for Inno3D. I've bought several cards from them and never had one fail. They also usually give you memory clock boosts on the "standard" cards. And I wouldn't trust Manly... I've never heard of it. Maybe I just never heard of it but it's good... But I've been doing this for years... Never heard of it. If you want, open up both pages of the Inno3D and the Zotac card and compare them side-by-side.

but anyways, i'll research some more, but for now, i think i've setup my mind, iam sticking with intel, just waiting on a price confirmation so i can choose 950 or 980, i'll see then.

So, i've been looking around and i am finding different prices for different products, is it better if i just buy all the parts that i need from here and there and put them together, or is it more advisable if i just by them all from one place so i can get guarantees and better support???

but really i didn't understand it, i just want to know how many gtx480s can it fit only 2? or more?

I think if you want to use SLI or crossfire then you'll need to use only 2 cards because 2 of the 4 lanes are at equal speeds x16, x8. so the best scenario is to put the gtx480s (2 of them only) on the x16 lanes.

Dude. 3 way SLI is way too much, so now you wanna go with 4 way SLI? I mean that is really not logical and is a waste of money. I swear that 1 480GTX can play all games at Full HD with no problems. UD9 only goes with 4 way SLI, or the EVGA X58 classified 4 way SLI motherboard.

no no, i don't want 4 way SLI, i can't even afford it, i was just checking to make sure that i can at least have 2 or 3 gpus for the future, i know, i saw the benchmarks of the gtx 480 running games like badcompany 2 full hd all high quality and AA.

i have friend now helping me with the prices, so soon am gonna get a list of the parts i posted with good prices, and including other parts just as options, then i think i can make up my mind, maybe i'll post all the parts he sends me, and some of the guys here can advise the best setup using these parts.

man it takes time trying to build a good pc...
