heh Nokia n8 is better ?
My friend bought it a month ago for 550$, because it sucks, he wants to sell it now for like 500$. The store asked 250$ for it.
It's slow, lags... and ofc it's symbian. The only thing good in it is the camera.
I'm not saying n900 is better but still n8 is not good.
N8 needs tones of updates.
i think you are coming down a bit harsh on the n8. in comparison to other symbians that are around, n8 does take the prize. the E7 will be a better version cause it will have a keyboard. as for symbian. well the symbian road map was planned years ago and has been re-planned after that (speeding things up). the true potential of symbian is when the ^4 version hits the market, unfortunately that wont happen for a while. the reason for that is cause of QT. nokia just changed the update policy so that in the future there wont be that many major updates, changes would come as small updates, in some cases might even perform major updates that way.
as for n900, n900 is very flexible but it serves none more than a proto platform for all the things that will be happening in the future mobile devices. N900 was never intended to be a niche product for trendy people but a development gadget for geeks. the sad story is that nokia killed maemo as it combined it with intel to form meego. meego will have three different version. each serving a different market segment. what the mobile meego would look like, who knows. will it be as flexible as maemo, I very much doubt that, so in short enjoy the n900 still while you can.
