Great advertisement for new upcoming windows phone 7
Really? (Windows Phone 7)
Microsoft showing its cool side. Not bad for a commercial, but not really sure about the idea its trying to present.
As for the OS, i liked the UI, simply innovative.

Great commercial
Nice Commercial, waiting for reviews on this one.
Is that an AT&T logo, on top of the phone?
That was a scary ad. Imagine the world like that...
But back onto the actual phone... Meh, it's like Microsoft's version of the iPhone.

In terms of what? Features? Apple revolutionized the mobile industry, there's no wonder that every other phone imitates.Tako_400 wroteMeh, it's like Microsoft's version of the iPhone.
(In before HTC/Android fanboys!)
Actually Microsoft has been on the market for a while now. They're not necessarily "copying" Apple, they are simply following industry trend, an industry they've been part of for almost a decade.
That was pretty funny, especially the bit at 0:18 where the woman shows off her skimpy outfit with a 'ta-da!' gesture.
The concept of the ad might seem detrimental, "Windows Phone 7, less interesting than others" but it's actually "Windows Phone 7, lets you do things faster so you can get back to real life."

No place for wallpapers! The whole screen is full of huge widgets, personally I don't like it
Exactly. Everyone knows the essentials of mobile phones. Calling and texting. But ever since Apple came out with it's iPhone, the mobile phone has become something with lots and lots of features and that has the option of calling and texting.xterm wroteIn terms of what? Past is past and nowadays things are that Android is the new revolution,Lebanese are always late in mobile choice but they begin to discover the joys of Android ;)
Nah, smartphones were around since before the iPhone, doing much more than calling and texting. They were business-oriented. Windows Mobile was the prominent example (and Blackberry I suppose.)Tako_400 wroteEveryone knows the essentials of mobile phones. Calling and texting. Apple definitely revolutionized the concept, making it simpler and more expandable. But if anyone can claim that they were "in before iPhone", it's Microsoft and their mobile OS.

It has integrated zune functions .... I'm impressed !! <\sarcasm>
Who would go for a "windows mobile" with android and iOS available ??

Seriously guys you expect people to like it. Everyone will say their device is the best. I have an iPhone 4, and I like it a lot. You shouldn't judge a thing by the way it looks, you should use the OS before, and then place a judgement. Again, I'm an iPhone 4 user, and apple fan, and I am interested by Windows Phone 7, and practically dislike android.
I love ... all of them. Each OS is super fun to use. Some phones has particular advantages, but they're all interesting.
I have a Blackberry, trying an Android soon. Apple seems very interesting. I think the addition of Windows to the market could be exciting.
I agree that Windows were pioneers on this market, but it still feel like they are a little late to react to Android and iOS.

Like you said, every OS has its features which distinguishes it from the others. Windows Phone 7 has proven itself a worthy competition to the gaming side of the iPhone 4.
Don't be so hasty to bash Zune. Have you ever used one? The "Zune Pass" service is a very good deal, it's like all you can eat. The Zune HD is well known to be a better music player than its main competitor, giving out superior audio quality.unforgiven wroteIt has integrated zune functions .... I'm impressed !! <\sarcasm>

As for who would go for a Windows Phone, I can think of a few reasons. Some people like to try something new. Plus you have Office, Xbox, Zune. So far it looks promising. Let's see if MS can nurture it well and if the app marketplace booms.
Dude the best mp3 players in terms of audio quality are:
-Cowon J3
-Samsung P3
-Sony A85X
Zune is just slightly better than ipod which is the worst one

Yes that's exactly what I said. Better than its main competitor (i.e. the iPod touch.) Nothing compares to Cowon!
