As usual the expected dust heat wind which was supposed to last 3 days will last 10 days, it will not decrease before the end of next week :( :(
Yeah this year is definitively at least as bad as last year with only 3 days of rain and relative cold per month against 27 days of desert wind.

This weather is extremely annoying and what is more annoying is the complete ignorance of many people. For instance today I was talking to a friend(good university student who is supposed to educated) I was telling him that this weather is unbearable and we need to have some rain, cold, and snow.
He said he prefers this weather though, I told him that even though you prefer it if it stays like that one day we will not have any more water to drink or use. He replied: "We don't really need rain or snow to have water, we usually dig and pump water from the ground", and I walked away laughing about our pitiful situation and our horrible future.
Some ignorant people just don't understand that water underground is مياه جوفية and we need large amounts of snow in order to refill those reservoirs they just think it is like petroleum. And I still see people especially neighbors who clean the street and their cars every single day and water would be rolling on the street for hours just to make sure they use the water to the max after their خزان is full.

Hopefully we should have rain between the 30 October and 2 November with a huge drop in temperatures,but as the very annoying Lebanese old people say ''beyn techrine ou techrine sayf tene'' :X
Also as usual when it concerns a heat wind they never get wrong even if they forecast it 1 month before but when it's a happy good rain even 24h before they change totally and decide that the rain was too afraid of Lebanese politicians :P

Remember the cooler temps and rain that were supposed to come beginning of Nov? well it seems like we're only gonna have 2-3 cooler days this week then return to the 28-32C!! temps with no sign of weakening :(

We will definitly have another ''khamsine'' perhaps not as strong and warm as the last one between wed and thur. and about the rain I really hope they are right because they forecasted rain for last weekend and nothing happened.
The bad news is that accu(3akrout)weather is already forecasting a long week of heat for the beginning of November, we are still in a period of instability with ''anticyclones'' coming and going in Europe,Asia and Africa. When this dance of the ''anticyclones'' will be replaced by stability, we will know what is the fate of the new winter, most probably in the end of November.

RAIN?? yes perhaps a little hour on Tuesday night for 10 mins
And still people are mocking me when I talk about that, ok let's see who will laugh when there will be no more water in our mountains,that water citerns will cost 10x more and that the Metn become Jebel Ali 2.
As for the ski lovers I think you could get at most 2 weeks in february this year as it will be the last time you can ski in Lebanon for...ever

Seems like we wont have snow anymore, its officially over, winter is gone in Lebanon, and soon to follow in European countries, we'll have the dry hot weather of Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia which I can't tolerate, that gives me a bigger reason to leave this place for good, and I thought we had something special that keep us here..well too bad its gone now.
