@adel: im typing from my brand new desire :) and yes the default browser reflows the text. And its not "pinch" but the opposite: spread fingers.
@omar: 550 bucks. i think its the best choice the device is brand new. i suspect many other shops are buying from him and selling at higher price. there's no shop guarantee however not that i'd trust any cellphone shopkeeper with such a device.
@adel/omar/anyone here: plz upload the bundled mp3s when u get the phone seriously guys.
Also, does anybody know where to buy a protective cover?

Edit 2: @adel, u can use dolphin browser hd, it's free; and when Mozilla Firefox Mobile For Android comes out, you can switch to it. Personally, I can't wait until it does.

Thanks wollyka, I'll be sure to check them out, even though I expected something as basic as language support to come built-in or free.
Anyways, I downloaded the pre-alpha version of Fennec (aka Firefox Mobile) for Android, and the UI/UX just blows the others' out of the water. Dolphin, Chrome (the default Android browser) and Opera Mini look so inefficient now.

Fennec was a huge deception for me because I thought it would have a Manual UA like the debug mode of the stock browser,so still no wap on N1 roms (unless Desire to N1 roms)

As for my xp with Fennec, it has the best UI but even more importantly it's the only browser that allowed me to DL a torrent from ThePirateBay which I loaded into aBTC. I did this on my Android phone on purpose to prove a point. I also downloaded a YouTube video with Ripper.
The bottom line is that Steve Jobs and all those who try to force or unwittingly support corporate policing can s*ck my balls.

Just bought my HTC from the airport (Stars communications). Not interested in driving to bir el abed or getting it from an unknown small shop. I paid 660$ They gave me a one year shop guarantee, and i didnt pay vat, so it was not a bad deal- all prices posted on this site are excluding vat.

there must be an app that let you import your sms from windows phone. I managed to import mine from iphone to android (only loosing the arabic sms since they didn't converted right)
