EddieEC wrote@Aj_Blaz so not true. People, if you want an android phone, get a Nexus One. It's THE android phone. I've seen the desire, HD2, the legend, the galaxy S. They are all inferior to the Nexus One.
I have an iPhone 4 now.
iPhone 4 > Nexus One > Galaxy S >>>>>>>> HD2. I hate WM.
I'm sorry mate, you've got it all wrong. no way is the legend, desire, or galaxy S inferior to the Nexus One.
Just because the Nexus1 is the official google phone doesn't mean it's a superior phone. All it means is that it will get the OS updates before the rest of the phones. it's not a big deal since the manufacturers end up releasing those updates OTA
First the Desire, Legend, are of similar if not identical hardware spec to the Nexus one, both have the 1Ghz Snapdragon (only difference is the HTC Sense UI which can be turned off without root access or modding the ROM). Also don't forget that with root access, all these phones can use the Cyanogen ROMs and then their are identical with same software running on all of them.
The Galaxy S has a more powerful 1Ghz (Hummingbird, more powerful than snapdragon CPU) which could be clocked up to 1.6Ghz (root access required). It has the best GPU (same as iPhone4) for the best resolution and display. and not to mention the 4 inch Super AMOLED Screen. It has 8 to 16 Gb onboard memory, and external storage too.
The galaxy S and iPhone4 have very similar (if not same) GPU and CPU (they were both designed by samsung, but apple did the manufacturing) but the iPhone4 has a front facing camera, and LED flash.
but since i hate Apple, and their closed policies, i see it like this;
Samsung Galaxy S > (Desire = Nexus1 = Legend) > iPhone4
