jajoja wroteWhere did you get this info from or is it just because you hate ogero ? , nahas blocked the contract to go further more because he didnt agree that ogero has the right to be included into the deal
You are missing the point here. If Abdel Menaem Yussef signed the contract in the name of "The Ogero Company for Telecommunications" what would that mean? It means that a
private company (although non-existent) have signed the contract, and therefore the ministry won't have anything to do with the IMEWE anymore! Nahhas wasn't against "Ogero Telecom" signing the deal
in the name of the ministry, otherwise he wouldn't have gave Ogero the privilege to take care of the preparations and the signing in the first place. But, again I repeat, Abdel Menaem Yussem was inviting the consortium and planned to sign in the name of "The Ogero Company for Telecommunications" and not "Ogero Telecom"! Please try to be objective and analyze the situation as is.
I'm actually okey with Ogero and I believe they're the most reliable ISP in Lebanon. But that doesn't mean I would be okey with what Abdel Menaem Yussef is doing. So really, it's not Nahhas that doesn't want to upgrade the telecommunication sector's infrastructure, it's Yussef's bypassing of the law that lead to the delay. And for your information, Gebran Bassil was the first minister to invest in the infrastructure and actually do something about the internet
outside Solidere. Nahhas is and will carry on what Bassil has started, and eventually we'll enjoy the luxury of broadband internet! I trust Nahhas because I know him as a person, he's a very serious man with a lot of integrity(something that is missing in most of the politicians these days).
