wow! I'm really shocked now. I swear I never had any problems with my dv9000. Sometimes Adobe Flash CS4 crashes but that's because it's "too heavy" for the hardware in the laptop. But so far, I never had any hardware issues, and I only recovered it once after it got loaded with bulky software.
Performance wise, I have to say it's "okey", sometimes it takes a little extra time to log on after the Welcome message of Windows Vista but other than that I'm glad with it. I do plan to get a desktop pc this summer though (probably an All-In-One with an i7 Quad-Core). So yeah, thanks for the info man. That won't be good for my Marketing course final project because I claimed that the dv9000 was one of the top 3 in its category (desktop replacement laptops) lol. But anyway, it's all good :)
