I think it is a human right to communicate with whoever one chooses to. Communication is the first step of peace, every truce, or peace agreement starts with a messenger waving a white flag, then follows communication :)
On top of that, my motivation was to have a good time and share ideas with a fellow geek. There was no politics involved, and the person I spoke to never did any military training and did not even voted, so I consider him to have "clean hands".
I am aware now (but I wasnt aware at the time) that this breaches a law, and puts me a bad situation.
PS: I would like to hear the "insight or general guidelines" of the people who are from a different opinion, and support the ban on communicating with Isrealis. Maybe I have something to learn.
