Good observation Battikh. I guess they will start to hide the emails to robots unless the participant authorizes it.

:/ wave seems to be more streamlined , more proffesional, but is it any good? i mean if i have facebook, msn ,nd hotmail y do i need another thing to take my time? its just googles attempt to monopolize the 'social networking ' business, just like browsers, search engines, advertisements, video sharing and broadcasting, and mobile OS ........

Anyone care to give a detailed review? Mir? samer? anyone ?

i think the official video google released sums it up the best...
but for me it kind of looks a bit like a forum, it's just that you get to chose who can participate in the discussion and who cannot, and everyone who participates in the discussion is a moderator.... and you can make it completely public (like a forum).
the rest is just details and extra features, just as you can install plugins in a forum to grant new features to the users.

<< is interested for an invite ... i read about it a long time ago last year when paul thurrot first introduced it, and testing beta's is sort of a hobby to me :D

after some time of having it , what is your actual feedback ppl ?
for me :
- when a wave is public , it becomes too crowded.. when i check it again it is like tons of text squeezed together here and there , i feel mostly like scrolling thru it not reading it
- if u are collaborating to produce a document, it is impossible since you can't edit each other sentences , so it is more discussion than collaborating on something to get it done.
- there is no document u can produce out of the wave , no export option, so for example if i am trying to collaborate with ppl to produce a feature list to add to a software - it is kinda useless to do it in wave cuz additional work has to be done later and we can't edit each other
- it has less visuals.. in etherpad , u can use colors for example as a visual guidline to read what this person typed... what the other person edited
- the interface is weird... not that easy to figure out stuff without some googling
- there are lot of useless steps showed why playing back the wave
- no auto play of the wave.. am i supposed to click 150 times to get the wave played ?
- the private invite system sucks, since less ppl have it , less to collaborate on :P , it did create buzz but bleh
- compared to other products like etherpad ( again ) , you have to do more steps to get things rolling
so for me , i am still using google docs and etherpad
Google docs added some features like offline editing , sharing folders and some details that totally rock
etherpad is minimalistic , simple and i still prefer it for the more onlinish collaboration aka "see what others type "
