you know they take for granted that all users are computer/network ignorant , so when you speak to the operator the operator also is computer ignorant , the operator just tells the admins and pros about the username and they check . you know they can program the router without even coming to ur house thru telnet . i guess if you know whom to speak to you will get the pass :)
Ogero DSL feedback.
I think maybe that users can exchange their accounts if they get the admin password. You cannot trust Lebanese
no i think not they can still link the user-name with the telephone number don't you think ;)
Well as long as you are not getting a private realIP I believe they are not using your phone number. But I am not sure anyway. As I said earlier, I did not work for an ISP before so it can be they also refer to the modem Mac. Who knows.jadberro wroteno i think not they can still link the user-name with the telephone number don't you think ;)
yup we can not be certain of anything regarding this issue after all . isnt there anybody working with ogero on lebgeeks ? . we desperately need one :P
I've been Using Ogero for about 3 years now... i got 512/64... latency never got better and quota is still the same (4GB/4GB)/Month... when are they ever gonna improve the crappy network in this country..
i remember having 10mbps when i was in Poland.. and today.. look what i just saw on the ISP's offer page

120Mbps FIBER!!!! (that's like all the speed in Saida. Combined lol)...... and not just Poland.. UPC(ISP name) is giving the same offers to Czech. Slovakia and other european Countries...
price: $68/month.. sure it sounds alot but look at 50mbps
41$/month.... Now compare that Lag-free Unlimited connection to the $46 so called "512/64" i(and other ogero users) get here
See how the World is improving their internet.. but Lebanon.. we're still stuck in that.. Dark Hole O_o
Thank You Ogero... for the overpriced stable connection that comes with the crappy never changing Quota
one day Africa will have 1Gbps Connections to people and Lebanon will offer 1mbps to 50people

Welcome back Raficoo,
Africa already got better Internet than Lebanon. Countries like Tanzania, Rwanda, Etiopia, Tunesia got their fiber and soon even the baboons
will get 6Mbps to each palm tree.

Belal I decrypted the password for both admin and pppoe. If you need assistance let me know. Credit goes to Teo as well.

No shit. DSL ? For god sake its like serious shit.
I have been subscribed for 3 weeks. and guess what, i've spent 2 Gb's already. It keeps lagging... and its not 24/7, i signed up for 128kb/s its only 10kb/s.
Someone sent only 1mb of packets to my router and it crashed and restarted.
The freaking router has no firewall. no ip's were blocked after the packets were sent.
And u pay for your router but cant access it ? Come on that's unfair.

2GBs in 3 weeks is really good. I endup with 3GBs every 2 weeks and I only use the internet at night for browsing. With Ogero it's been 24/7 since like 1 year. They had a problem 2 days ago and it's working fine again.Moudi wroteNo shit. DSL ? For god sake its like serious shit.

Your 128kbps is in fact 110kbps ( copper loss, noise..etc..) which is ~ 13KBps...
What is your router? I am not aware of a router Ogero provides with no firewall.
I have posted a thread where you can get Ogero D-Link modem username and password. Maybe that helps..
Cheers.
Not copper noise, it is just DSL overhead.
Yep, thanks for the correction.
When they provide you the information they say that your download speed should be 128kb/s upload 32kb/s .
When my bought from my former ISP 512kb/s connection. i payed a fortune for it but it was accually 500kb/s dowlnoad speed and he was legit. DSL is not so good.

I actually get max 460kbps on a 512 :-/
My 256k that turns to 512k at night (ADSL) gives me a transfer rate of a stable 60-64 KB/s sometimes it hits the 70's and goes back down to the 60's, I use "Internet download manager" and it has been stable during all the time I had and have my ADSL.

hey guys,
sorry to dig back an old topic, but I am with OGERO dsl 256k. I only have 3GB down. Do we, us OGERO users, have unlimited d/l at night?
I don't care about double speed as we all know, there's a lot of pressure, so no one actually gets double speed.

Thank you Xterm for the quick reply.
This sux. I download a lot. Other ISP don't have good internet connection and Ogero has this not so good limited quota.
i already paid the installation fees for Ogero. It will be stupid to repay installation fee for other ISP
