Sessions means pppoe sessions. You cannot do pppoe authorization for same username on two different computers. It is same everywhere.

Advertise... well, i dont like to advertise VISP. It is big responsibility, to put my own reputation on table. And i prefer to stay away from lying. Connecting now to any ISP(same as ISP job) - like russian roulette now, 1 bullet in revolver. Depends who will go to install, where he lives, how weather at his location, how cabling done...
If you have cheap way to try (good reseller nearby) - try.

xannax visp is pretty decent the download speeds and all seem amazing now since their back on their feet even torrents... however the upload is still pretty messed up but it is getting better

lets say you take a game liek wow which is mainly about the upload ur ping will be around 800-100 ms

but before the gov took them down it was around 100-200 ms at my place ... so yeh still waiting on that im hearing nuclearcat is having some probs with it........

the way i see it the ministry is trying to monopolize DSL and the more ppl go into DSL the slower and gayer its gonna get unless the deal abotu fiber cables to kuwait actually happens!

@nuclearcat: I appreciate the honesty.
@Tbag: I never play, not online at least, but I need to be able to browse the net in a comfortable way, download torrents/ftp/http (sometimes big files), and upload websites, meaning text files (html/php pages) and some flash (a few megs). I don't care if the upload is slow as long as it is consistant (no corrupt files, no infinite retries before getting a shitty 80k flash file online).
If DSL is going to get slower and slower what's the alternative?
And about "lebanoninternetsucks", maybe instead of attacking the ISPs, it would be better to attack the government?

well i think a nice constructive website where ppl can find more information about best internet options
a good benchmarking platform and such where useful stuff and tools and tutorials are published would be cool.

and hopefully it will make ISPs compete between each other... that is why we should not take sides... and ISPs can find somehow data of "where they are weak" and try to improve versus the competition :P

personally i don't like to publish stuff that includes lot of swearing on politics... i prefer to do something more constructive

and yes , i think this will be like a stone , one of many we can throw in the face of those abusers (i was goona use another word :P ) and it will be useful for ppl , specially the tricks and tip sections :P

it will be a platform for ppl to make their voice heard... i am not into making it like the lebanese broadband... it sounds too official and there is a board and such.. it smells.. but we should co-operate with them... they seem to be the business type... we should do something for the wild masses to unleash their wrath on everyone trying to take away our bandwith :P
