I still did not switch to adsl, because it was introduced only for regular users, those who only browse email, use msn and basic stuff. It is not made yet for heavy users... but with time, things will change.

tonight it was working fine until suddenly @ 1 am the connection disconnected and then reconnect automatically with 128 kbps :(
it is totally random, like a box of chocolate, u never know what u will get lol

ok i got some info concerning the issue, it appears that Cyberia is monitoring the usage and implementing a session limit ! if u exceed the quota per session, ur speed will be lowered to 128 kbps for 2 days! However, i didn't manage to get the info regarding the quota (how much is it? nobody knows! or what do they mean by session? is it a day, half day, an hour, week? also a mystery!).. Also if ur speed is halted to 128 kbps and u still managed to exceed the quota it will remains 128 for an additional 2 days meaning if u r a heavy user u WILL NEVER GET 512 since u certainly be using all ur quota per session and u will be stuck at 128 for the remaining of the month!!@!# :/

it is only a way how ISP can make money. Till noone cares to convience government (which they elect) to lower the prices - eat as you have. Sorry to say that.
Do you think there is miracles, and ISP can give you non-stop 512k for $50-$100 while they buy this amount for $500-$1000 ?

yeah i know it is the only way the ISP can make money, i only blame the ministry and all the ministers that came and none did nothing to change the situation..
i don't think Bassil can do shit to change it, i hope i am wrong!
