It seems ISPs are not even offering higher quotas! Just the same as Ogero which is extremely disappointing!

By the way , can you please exactly define FUP? In practical terms, how much can I download in the evening between 8 and 12 pm? can i download 20GB at that time? ( i dont download at night and rarely during day)

would there be a better latency account like the gaming account offer by one of the ISPs?

FUP will depend on area local connectivity, current load, previous amount of downloads comparing to other users.
It will not run just to limit downloads per month/day/etc, it will run just to provide appropriate quality of service.

Im planning on replacing my mobi with a visp account (512 kbps) I know for a fact that their technical support is great thanks to Nuclearcat, but what about outages or connection stability? would you recommend it to me?

babum - frankly, we are not stable, and we have a lot outages.
No idea about others, but i am not satisfied at all about that, but till Ogero give upgrade i cannot do much on that matter. I do not recomment our connection for mission critical applications alone, just better to get some cheap backup for outage times.

Nuclearcat I need please a more concrete answer.

Will I be able to download 20 GB / month between 8 pm and midnight? (I very rarely download after midnight) I know i depends on many factors, but can't you give an approximation? If a new customer wants a connection from you, doesn't he have the right to know the EXACT meaning of FUP before signing so that he doesn't have BAD surprises afterwards? what do you consider as FAIR usage and wwhen does it start to become UNFAIR? It seems very unclear to me!

I would be grateful if you can give me a CLEAR answer with YES or NO about the 20 GB download between 8 pm and download? If it is a NO, what is the maximum amount I can download between 8 pm and midnight?

hey what is FUP? i am guessing its my isp making my connection bad just because i downloaded too much .if its that, how can avoid it ?.i know do not download a lot but i mean do i get FUP if burn my qouta and refill 2 times ?

I very much doubt that we're gonna see improvement in October.

There's something very wrong if 6 days prior to the supposed implementation of the new internet law, no one (ISP's included) has a clue about anything regarding this subject.

Fair Usage policy is there to make sure one person won't lower the quality of service for the rest of the users.
Some providers will reset your FUP when you renew your subscription. VISP will let you reset your FUP if it reaches 100% and in return, 3 days will be deducted from your current subscription period.
To avoid it, don't download too much when you feel the connection is already congested or during high traffic hours.

I have no idea about quota accounts on other ISP :-(
It depends, how they implement their system and make business decisions

I don't think you can to begin with. Before VISP upgraded 256k accounts to 1Mbit, I used to get 32kilobytes 24/7.
Now after they upgraded accounts to 1Mbit, I get ~7Kilobytes all the time other than 3 to 6AM. It is very very congested at the moment.

Yes , congested as I've never seen in the past 5 years ... hope they receive E1s as soon as possible
