well i was being able to raid before at 8 9 pm until whoever knows what time and with a stable 250ms 300ms latency!! things started to get messed up since mid may a little , and complete chaos since 1st of june until now..so it is not supposed to become like this at "this time of night" since it worked perfectly before and for several months.md2k wroteBetter didnt ask :-D at this night time ;-)hussam wrotebrowsing is what? :D ^^

@nuclear cat: no username nor password.
The connection is usable today. I am able to write on this forum. It is the first time since my last message (20 days ago) that I am able to load lebgeeks at work. Just sayin.
[edit] Not implying that the connection was never usable all that time, but the "connection usable"/"I remember to write on lebgeeks" never happened together. This is still saying something. The connection is unusable at least 50% of the time, if not more.

It often happen, that someone thinking it is VISP fault, is:
1)Not direct VISP customer, ISP, who buy bandwidth, and just has VISP ip's
2)Resellers who cheat, e.g. share single connection for many, and customer is again really not direct customer
3)Real problems (reseller-user connection, VISP-reseller connection, etc)
So username is a proof that someone VISP customer and hint to find where is a problem.

Can't connect to the game now.
So, Nuclearcat, you are saying that, if latency is bad and all video streaming are either blocked or gravely slow, I should contact my reseller and give him a piece of my mind?
Not exactly as you say, but you not far from true. So, Nuclearcat, you are saying that, if latency is bad and all video streaming are either blocked or gravely slow, I should contact my reseller and give him a piece of my mind?
NuclearCat only said, that username - its a proof, that this user is our direct customer. If this user is direct customer, but he no have any idea about his login - that mean his reseller is cheating/sharing his connection between few users (so that mean, for sure, he will got bad connection), if he have login, but this login from ISP who just buying bandwidth from us - that mean, this ISP buy bandwidth and most probably its bandwidth full (usually this is true) , we cant do anything with that. If he is our direct customer - he should have his username. that's it. and nothing also.

Fine and no one is arguing that you are working to resolve it and I understand that VISP's prices are cheaper that others (I only pay 35 USD/month for my direct 256k connection). I also respects that VISP allows folks like me who can't get ADSL to have an internet connection without resorting to the neighborhood's cable guy for a connection.md2k wroteWith all my respect too, we are working on resolving this problem. and fix this issue in our main interests. so please be patient
However, problems shouldn't be happening to an ISP the size of VISP and I've mentioned that so many times in this thread. I've shown nuclearcat the traceroutes when connection is working and when it is not. He was kind enough to explain that when it works, this is the main link and when only http (and sometimes msn), then this is the backup link.
And yes, you do always fix everything eventually but it's like buying a copy of RHEL and finding that the kernel won't boot. That shouldn't happen when you buy something from RedHat (you'd expect that from Ubuntu but not from RedHat). So what I'm trying to say is that don't be surprised when someone seems frustrated when things aren't perfect.
exactly , it's Lebanon , problems and technical difficulities are everyday's routine , but main problem with VISP is that they take too much time to fix the problems occuring with their buisness , we are entering the 23rd day , that's a whole month and it's really frustrating to see the service degrade this much between day and night while it was very good and satisfactory before..hussam wroteFine and no one is arguing that you are working to resolve it and I understand that VISP's prices are cheaper that others (I only pay 35 USD/month for my direct 256k connection).
