I'm not sure if it's VISP or my reseller. The service is beyond crap. Web pages requires forever to open, forget about watching youtube (when I first got the connection, I was able to watch youtube without any buffering, now I have to wait a day in order to be able to play it, that's if the connection didn't fuck). I'm seriously thinking going with TerraNet or Sodetel.

Definitely your reseller. Browsing is rocket fast on my VISP connection (http:// stuff).
It's only the non http:// stuff that have have long daily outages here the last few weeks.

anyone having major ping and ingame latency problems tonight ? it was fine during day time now it's completly crap since like 8 or 9pm !

yes, it started after 9 here. at one point I even got a 87 second lag where I got disconnected.

What is wrong at the moment? I'm a direct subscriber with a @visp.net.lb account and I haven't had more than 3 to 5 hours of usable internet every 24 hours since mid february? do people subscribed through resellers get the good connection and direct subscribers get nothing?
Every month I consider not renewing my subscription but when the guy comes to collect the money, I'm too shy to say I want to cancel my account (same thing happened two days ago). There's also the fact that I don't have land phone line for DSL.
It took ages of refreshing to get this page to load without a VISP error message. I don't mind browsing being dead when I don't have linux updates to urgently download but when the average latency is 3605 ms, I can't do anything. Sorry if this seems like a rant but this shouldn't be happening for an ISP the size of VISP.

Still 2000+ ms ping now.

Probably specific base issue, i will check that tomorrow.
Additionally i will try to roll again new system, where each base will be monitored automatically, but not sure it will work (problem with proprietary vendors).

Good connection now :) I hope it stays good during the evening.

Edit1: 900ms game latency now at 8PM. :/

Edit2: 1100ms game latency now at 9PM :/

Edit3: now 1100 mininum and some 2300+ ms spikes. it's not usable at all.

Since two days, Mediafire downloads are not resuming, while they do resume while my friends who live abroad test them on their internet.

Is there some proxy problem, or is there anything from VISP that can be done in order to fix that problem ?

Some outages throughout the day today but the latency has been good when the connection was working (380 to 400ms)

yesterday it was a complete mess , worse latency i've seen since months ! today everything is alot better , 300 530 ms ingame at peak times ( good for me ) , but still continuous lag spike freezing happen from time to time , it's kind of annoying but glad with the improvement!

Stilll problem not fixed, but good news coming. I try to fix at monday, but at day it is caused big issues. Woke up now and will work during night...

I cannot disclose details, till i see it works... some improvements should be made in week, tonight i did offload of links that was congested, and few more remaining this night...
