Is that 256k one the unlimited one...and would I get free DL at night too?

I need that sort of package.

Sorry to be clueless here, but Im new....and missing my 20Meg connection at home!
There's no "unlimited" package although they don't specify your monthly quota. But traffic from 3AM till 7AM is unlimited.
nicksy wroteCouple of questions

I seem to be with VISP. It was connected by the "Tv" guy who set up the router with a wire coming down off my balcony (sexy eh)

Its just painfully slow down to a crawl right now.

Is it better to go to the company direct, and if so do i need a phone line to do it here?
If you are at VISP, you should be able to login at https://customer.visp.net.lb/
Otherwise, even it is mentioning VISP IP - it can be just someone of VISP customers "reselling" connection.
So would you say it is best to ditch this connection from the "Cable Guy" and go direct with VISP?

If VISP cover your area then it's probably the best thing to do.
By the way, nuclearcat is the sysadmin/tech manager there :)
9 days later
constant timeouts while browsing.

Edit. still happening.
nuclearcat, when Real IP becomes paid, will I automatically get billed for it or do I need to reconfirm my real IP so that I don't lose it?
Sure not automatically. You will be notified and if you don't choose to pay for it - it will be removed.
I think we will do it smoothly.

Ok thanks. I asked because I would like to keep it.
nuclearcat, what's with "You have issued a request with a "only-if-cached" cache control directive.
The document was not found in the cache, or it required revalidation prohibited by the "only-if-cached" directive. "
I can't use my webhost's cpanel because of this. please take a look at this. it's really urgent.

It happens on my websites. I even contacted some of the websites where this error happens and explained my ISP uses caching. They said either it may be misconfiguration or intentional from ISP's side.

Please take a look.

I asked about this before in this thread but never got a reply, Last month, I tried online ISP support but they didn't understand what I was talking about.
I am working on this issue... it is software glitch on our side. Can u try now?
the FUP sucks! i downloaded 4 gbs in 3 days , and as a result i got a terrible connection for 10 days!! my account was degraded from 256 to 64!!! even worse! the worst thing is that there is no limit as they say , so how am i supposed to know this virual red line!

You can tell from your visp customer panel. if you're over 100% on average of last 7 days, then you're using more than your allocated bandwidth.
If you move mouse on it, it will show also overload value.

Looks like it stopped. Thank you :)
thats not the point , i know these , but lower my account for 10 days to about 64 kbits , just because of that! ok i got it from the 1st day my connection went slow , no need to keep it up for 10 days!
Hey, I'm a VISP user and i found something odd out last couple of days. When connecting to world of warcraft sometimes I'd connect and have latencies of 700-1000 but if i alt f4 and relog i would get a latency of 200-300 now its not just visual i have the addon quartz and the latency is just drastically reduced. I wanted to inquire about this and why it keep happening.
Actually it is not normal. Can you give me username in PM so i will investigate?
any luck so far nuclearcat?!
