same here. from 9 to 12 midnight, 800+ ms game ping. then suddenly gets better at 12 midnight.

Let me answer that for you: I applied to the "Real IP". And yes, it does remove the restriction. With my 2Mbps subscription, I get torrent download speed at 300-350Kbps. It's not much, I know, but it's a start.
Here goes hoping for better speeds in 2013... Right VISP?

limitation is a vague word.
There is no limitation on torrents with or without real IP.
But without real IP, you have 256kbit speed for non-http (including torrents, https, ftp, etc..).
With real IP, you have 512kbit speed for non-http (including torrents, https, ftp, etc..).

So that's quite impossible for a decent use... 256kbit or 512kbit on non-http is too damn slow for 2012.

for non-hhtp Im getting much higher than 512kbit with realip. I think it depends on the package you are subscribed to, the higher the faster your speed for non-http.

Everything is wrong in this ISP , just learn your lessons people. If you are ever thinking the state of this internet connection from VISP is ever going to change before the next millenia , then I feel sorry for you..

I think they are throttling the number of concurrent connections now. if I have msn/freenode open, I get disconnected from my online game..

Some of us are stuck here. VISP knows it so they throttle us between noon and 3AM to save bandwidth..
