Can you do a test to Europe(France, Germany, etc..) and check the pings? or even when you use online applications/games, do the pings appear low as they do on the speedtest? Strange how VISP's average speed in Lebanon has skyrocketed to #1 all of a sudden(according to http://www.netindex.com/download/2,104/Lebanon/ )
hussam in my online game, I am getting 57 to 68ms latency which is perfect because as a fighter, I need less than 100ms otherwise I may get killed. at over 100ms, I have to heal too early, etc.. The connection has been very stable lately. non http stuff are running at full 256k finally :) Perhaps in the future with upgrades, bit more quota will help but not absolutely necessary.
vengeance666 I'm pretty fine with having 60kb/sec download speeds as long as the internet and ping are stable whole day long .. I can do whatever I want whenever I want .

trophyhunter hey im a sodetel user and i want to transfer to visp since its much better, but i dont know what do i have to do.I mean will i get the connection by next month directly or do i have to wait alot? please tell me what to do
hussam As far as I can tell, Pactick said on facebook that VISP no longer installs connections. You have to find a reseller in your area who will install your connection. This is easy. They are everywhere in lebanon. just ask in your neighborhood. A reseller can install your connection in the same day or next day depending on how active he is.
NuclearVision And that's what i did after changing my house, the guy said i need an account or something and he put a 5GHz wireless receiver on the top of my building. @nuclearcat hey man, i was wondering: can people like me who are subscribed to visp via resellers access the visp control panel (visp points)... And how are visp points rewarded? Thanks Wassim
nuclearcat If it is reseller - yes, and you can use v-points, to reset the FUP and buy dedicated ip. Technically you should ask reseller, and if he refuse to give you control panel access or sell v-points, let me know to my email (denys AT visp.net.lb ). If it is Sub-ISP who just buy from VISP billing - depends if they subscribe their users to control panel or not.
NuclearVision Thanks for the quick reply nuclearcat, but can you redirect me To the fup policy, and how should i know if the guy i'm subscribed to is a visp reseller or Something else?
xxGeeksrule Connection speed the past couple of days has been really slow and connection gets interrupted a lot what's going on ? I did speed test and got 0.14 mb/s download speed and 0.25 mbs/s upload speed
