If you are VISP - youtube should not be a problem. If u are in Bekaa - peak time can be bad, yes, due local links. But bandwidth no more issue.

youtube is literally dead right now although regular http downloads are good this evening.

Brilliant update. latency is up from 50ms to 300 and download speed from 256k to 56k
my ping to 2.2.2.10 is below 4ms so this is not a local link problem.

Seriously? I get 0.25Mbps download and 1.2Mbps Upload with a ping +300ms.
I never asked for such upload rates...I was happy with the older configuration that had acceptable download and marvelous ping...Please go back.

But according to tushie kissing group on facebook, this is all your imagination/bad local link. you actually have a 2Mbps download and a working youtube connection. ^^

Never would have said it better .. Ping was alot better , why on earth I want upload higher than download ?And with a higher ping !

I explained very well above - there is shortage in bandwidth. New bandwidth upgrade over another backbone (temporary), and there is no other way to get it. Practically it is much more important for ISP to have more bandwidth, than to keep lower latency.

Hey nuclearcat, nice change in customer.visp.net.lb I like it a bit. Though a funny question, is visp.net.lb down? Because whenever I try to access it I get an error.

Also system have some Error codes, which can popping up at right bottom corner. this number also can be very useful for resolving a problem with UI.

is there any problem now ? i cannot connect to my account. When i check my router status , it is disconnected, when i click connect i get "Connection failed".

It is fine from my side, but it slowed down significantly.

I called my reseller and he told me that he don't know what is the problem and he don't know if there is a problem with VISP. then i ask him to check my link , maybe there is some hardware problem in the box on the roof, and again he said that VISP didn't give them the ability to check links for customers.

So please i need some help.

i talked to someone in the facebook group and he did a reset to my account and now it is working but only if connected directly to my PC. i cannot connect using my router, of course i did a MAC ADDRESS clone, but still not connecting. Any idea about this problem ?
