@nuclearcat , me living at zahle region ( reseller abdo abou malhab ) and another friend living in batroun ( impossible same reseller ) have the exact issue ..

could you at least unblock ports 3724 TCP and 6112 TCP so we can atleast logon to a game since 3 days ??

Then why i cannot connect to any single game , even flash games on facebook don't work ... WoW uses those ports i mentioned.

vengeance666, did you see i explained above? The reason are pretty clear, traffic for one of resellers are flowing thru DDoS protection host. There is choice between being completely down (with whole VISP), or to have limited connectivity. As soon as attack stops, it will be removed.

I would like to know if visp throttled or restricts ports.
I am now on an unlimited connection with fastnet but they have started (since 1week) disabling access through ports other than 80 and 443 (http and https) every night until 2am.
I am unable to connect to ftp or use control panels at all. Does visp also employ such techniques?

no, ftp works here. but speed slows down to a crawl at the evening. I called VISP and they said that in 15 days max we will get the speed upgrades.

Yea me , and yesterday also was a complete disaster ... There always has been packet loss during peak times since a couple of month at around 1 or 2% .. yesterday was around 60% and tonight is a little less .. And yea one more issue : I never got 1mbps up from my 256k .. instead I only got 512k so far ..
