It happens for me also, but from 4:00 PM i got 100kbps, which is very slow

It's getting much worse every day.
What if VISP management decides to not get the upgrade? we wait yet another month?
I'm online from 6PM to 12AM (I work all day now). I can't "schedule" downloads in the morning because computer has to be off to avoid power outages.

I knew from a friend who knows someone working theere that VISP's DSL plans are out:
1 MBps/4GB - 15$
1 Mbps/12GB - 26$
2 Mbps/10GB - 29$
2 Mbps/20GB - 45$
4 Mbps/25GB - 69$
6-8Mbps/30GB - 109$
However, unlike all other ISPs no free download at night, no free installation, no free modem, no free 1-2 months, which is extremely disappointing. Thus I will 99% discard VISP.

Streaming YouTube videos after 6 pm is impossible. The streaming keeps stopping after like 5-10 seconds.
Extremely unusable internet.

I have a question about DSL eventhough I can't get a DSL connection. When VISP gives out DSL connections, do they use their own bandwidth or direct Ogero connections like Sodetel supposedly used to do?

most probably DSL will have their own infrastructure
VISP current users will benefit from infrastructure upgrades too
there is some upgrades coming soon, but i cannot give false promises (yes, this is Lebanon, i cannot rely on anybody), so i will let you know when they arrive

Well it will be too late. We waited a lot to see what Visp will. offer but we can't wait forever. Compared to other ISPs who offer either free installation or free modem or free months AND free download at night, VISP turned ou to be very disapointing. The 1$ discount on the 4 and 6 Mbps plans compared to other ISPs are ridiculous to say the least.

Also i will recommend anything (or not) only after i see real user feedback after 1-2 month.
I have long list companies (including embassies) who are asking me "WHEN", and i cannot give them answer too.

are non cached youtube videos disabled for regular customers? I haven't been able to play 1 second in a youtube for at least a month.
