was just wondering how much would the customs charge for ordering let's say one cell phone online.
I think there is customs + VAT + other stuff.
Also, what kind of items are customs free usually? and does this mean TVA is still to be paid?

they dont follow any rule, sometimes it's even more then the good u have ordered !!!!
i had a freind send me 2 CD's for a total of 20 US$ ... i payed 32$ for DHL and Customs (DHL was paid on my freinds side too tho ....)
call ur courrier and ask.

I say wait it out, until someone can deliver it for you. I've gotten screwed on so many things that I've ordered.
Hell, I even had to send a PDA to get repaired in the states. I had it shipped BACK to me and I had to pay money for it.
How messed up is that? I send it out FROM Lebanon and then BACK in. The same product...I had to pay again for it. I paid something like $100. That pissed me off.
