WizaRd bass at this rate, system restore is hilarious... you install some 6GB and it takes away 10GB... ya3neh 4 GBs just for this process ? doesnt make sense to me
Mizo i know ..this is how vista works... it takes too much space for system restore .. and yeah every time i install something it would take double its size or sometimes triple for system restore . like for example GTA:San Andreas takes 4 GB from my hard drive and took 6 GB for system restore and i don't know why, totally lame.
samer System Restore can be configured to use up to a maximum of 15% (in Windows Vista) of hard drive space. Old restore points are discarded in order to keep drive usage within the specified amount. For many users, this can provide restore points covering the past several weeks. Users concerned with performance or space usage may also opt to disable System Restore entirely. Files stored on partitions not monitored by System Restore are never backed up or restored. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System_Restore
WizaRd Ahhh, thanks for pointing it out Samer bass it still consumes too much... so does it make sense to you or at least 'should' it take that much space ?
Mizo 15% would take 22.5 GB from my hard drive and man i think its a lot .. so i just disabled it ... :D
