  • Forgot Password of Kapersky Internet Security 6.0

Hi guys,

I forgot the password of Kapersky Internet Security 6.0

i tried to remove-then re-install
it told me to stop the app from running

if i try to exit.. it asks for password
if i try to end task.. i get access denied

i tried couple of possible passwords
i don't write down my password
i don't use one pass for more than 1 app
so my chances of guessing the pass are low

so i am asking for a quick help or tip
try a brute force software specific to the application you are using
it will take some time to crack if the password is more than 5 characters

Unzip it into a folder on the desktop, then boot into safe mode (press f8 when powering up the pc and choose safe mode), there run the avp_remove.cmd file in the folder. This should remove the current kis/kav version so you can install it agian without any problems.

it is so hard just to remember all those passwords
