But the aim of this camera is not survey grandmas nose hair but take 360 panoramas like this:



For normal formats, there already exists a 22 Megapixels camera (for over 2 years now!) and it's size is closer to normal, and you are less likely to get arrested if you pull it out in front of a cop

If you want something cheaper you have the 16 megapixel canon eos 1Ds mark II , an amazing professional camera that sells at around 6500 dollars new. It's actually canon's most advanced camera.

Just one more thing, dont worry too much about megapixels, for example the 6.1 megapixel from the D70 above are much better then most 8 mp small cameras.
If you're serious about image quality, look for samples on the net, zoom in and judge for yourself.
;) Pretty much into photography and I've already got a Canon S2 IS, its a very good camera but I've grown out of it because I can't find lenses for it anywhere (any ideas?) I'm also looking for a good quality and reasonably priced.

I'm not 100% sure I want to get a new camera, because currently I am only taking pictures of certain events, I'm looking for someone who has a car :P that we can go with and take photos of certain areas in lebanon.

We got a 8 megapixel Olympus camera with 3 optical zoom for $200 while we were gone ;)

160 megapixels is a lot... if they've already got that much now, I wonder how much they'll get in the future...

Imagine, like 10 years from now, probably everyone will be walking with those 22 megapixel Canons lol, I don't know...
