Hey,
I got a Pi 3, and I'm trying to boot it NOOBS or Raspbian Graphical, I just get a blank screen. I have tried different cables, different screens.
I'm thinking maybe it's something with the Micro-SD? It's a Patriot 16GB. Does anyone know where I can buy an SD card in Lebanon that is guaranteed to be compatible?
Also, any tips, resources or any interesting stuff happening around the Pi?
Try to get some output over USB serial as well

Do you see any lights? Is the cpu warm to touch?

Pi SD cards tend to get corrupted over time, try a new one.

There is a Lebanese raspberry Pi competition (3rd edition this year). What do you wana know?
Can you access it without a screen using ssh? (how to do it). This would help you figure out whether the issue is with the SD card. I've had issues getting output on older monitors in the past.
Hey guys,

I fixed it, but I'm not sure how. At first I though it was the memory card, but then when I put the old one back, it still worked!
I just went through different cards, HDMI cables and power cables.

So I have this cool device, but I"m not sure what to do with it. The first idea that comes to mind is to install nginx and use it as a little web server that I can carry and use to demonstrate stuff.

I thought about making it a flight controller for a DIY drone. That would obviously be very advanced and time consuming, and I'm sure that I'll have enough time for that.

I am happy to hear that competitions and other events are happening around the Raspberry Pi. I looked up that competition but what I found it is for students, thanks. Anyway it would be nice to see what others are doing with the Pi.
