  • how to go to the German Embassy - Rabieh

Dears,

As the title says, my neighbor want to go to the German Embassy at Rabieh via Public Transport, so what is the best way and minimum IN\OUT in Vans or Taxi. Starting point is al Sayyad, since he is coming from Bekaa.

Regards.
I've been there by car. You just need to keep going up the main road. After the 7ajez there is a se7a with a church and a station. The embassy is to the left, not far.
Up to that point it's the main road so should be possible to get a service maybe?
There are buses that go from Dora->Antelias->Bikfaya->Mrouj and back. I don't know how he can reach Mrouj by public transport from al Sayyad, but from there he can take the bus down to the nearest point to the embassy on the Bikfaya-Antelias Highway. It's a 10-15 minutes walk from the Highway but he might have to cross the highway or take a taxi or service from there.

Edit: when going back he needs to pay attention to which bus he takes, because there are buses that follow this route also: Dora->Antelias->Bikfaya->Bteghrine->Baskinta
I don't know what are the public transport options from Sayyad, but I went to German embassy before using public transport, it is fairly easy, supposing that you know how to reach the main highway (Beirut - Jouniyeh) from any point you like (Dawra, City Mall, etc), just let the bus drop at Antelias bridge, you will find taxis parked there, just tell them you want to go to the German embassy, I remember that they took 3000 LBP.
Many thanks guys, "anayman_k7" +1 for the simple explanation.
