Does The Samsung JS7200 SERIES 7 SUPER UHD TV provided by CTC ( https://www.samsungctc.com/products/item/1124-55-js7200-series-7-super-uhd-tv.html ) is Full HDR Capable (HDR 1000) like premium line 55" KS9500 SERIES 9 SUPER UHD CURVED 4K TV ( https://www.samsungctc.com/products/item/1296-55-ks9500-series-9-super-uhd-curved-4k-tv.html ) / from the CTC Webiste, it seems no and from this review:

http://4k.com/tv/samsung-js7000-review-4k-suhd-smart-tv-un50js7000-un55js7000-un60js7000/

So what is the difference from Fully HDR Capable and can handle HDR , aren't there a specific parameters in the color gamut to qualify to HDR capability.

Other Brands

LG
Sony (X70D for example)
Hisense
Panasonic

Thank You
Nothing is really Fully HDR capable just yet.
Wait for the Sony X800D
Real 4k (not 3K like LG and samsung entry level)
HDR
The best upscaling engine ever.
Android TV (meaning Android apps like video players that can play any formats)
It will replace the 49'' X830C which was sold 1275$ with a PS3 + 2 games, some shops were selling it 800$ after taking out the PS3 and its games. So you can estimate a 700$ on X800D or 1100$ with a PS3 as prices go down every year

Isn't the KS9500 from Samsung Fully HDR 1000 capable , what do you think of the JS7200, May you clarify please by your statement " Nothing is really Fully HDR capable just yet" , by giving specific sources/analysis and when will that happen. Does companies are eligible to stamp on their product (HDR 1000) meanwhile they are not fully capable of that.

Mate , may you give some sources/technical analysis of the claim of : Real 4k (not 3K like LG and samsung entry level) and show that some brands are actually up-scaling to 3k Instead of 4K , and in case of the source (4k) will the TV Set outputs native 4K or 3K too.

These Are Models Sony Lebanon Website displayed to me

X85D
X80D
X75D

You are referring to the X80D or X8000D Series (Same Naming) Right ? All are 2016 Line and listed 4K HDR Android TV , so what are the difference between them (example the X94 Vs X93 Vs X85 VS X80 Vs X75). I think they are available now in Lebanon , where do you usually buy a genuine Sony TV like these. Thank You
I'm currently considering the lg 65uh8500 for 2200 bucks. I guess that would be nice
I am considering the LG Uh850v which is 3D Capable too has the HDR 10 and Dolby Vision Capable which Samsung and Sony lack in that. However , Sony has the most reliable 4K up-scaling & lowest input lag (especially for gaming when HDR for compatiable HDR games is enabled input lag increases) , Hamdan Offered me the X8500D Series (55Inch) for 1500 USD. Panasonic and Vizio P series are good considerations too (I don't know if anyone sells the Vizio Brand here in Lebanon)

LG Middle East Offerings:

Sony Middle East Offerings:

I would go for the Samsung KS8000 but I am not sure if it is available. Perfect TV for gaming, it has the lowest input lag I've seen for a 4k/HDR TV 2016 lineup. It supports HDR 10. The only thing that I didn't like about this TV is it's chrome build.
I made a search with Lebanese distributors, it looks like they are late with bringing new TVs, you should wait next month or even November to have the complete series here, CTC, LG Lebanon and Sony have only 1 model over 4 now but they should have them all for the Christmas period.
If samsung are still building their TVs with poor power supply protection, they won't last with our Lebanese electricity, specially in winter.
You should stay away from LG TVs, most of them are not true 4K as they lack one subpixel in each pixel + they have the slowest input lag.
Sony are certainly the best but their st*p*d marketing in Lebanon make you pay an extra 400-500$ for a PS4 you don't want, they should give you the choice instead of forcing you paying more so they can say to Sony International that they sold all their PS4

How LG uses fuzzy math to label some of its LCD TVs as 4K

Model series using the RGBW panels include the UH6100, UH6500 and UH7500.

It seems that the UH8500 / UH850V does not fall short in this alerting category , the Sony X850D is a great alternative offering a native 10 bit panel (not 8bit + dithering) / 4K X-Reality PRO is yet another highlight from ; It analyses each pixel, and taking advantage of a picture database, adds contrast, detail and texture to each single frame of the content, if the source is broadcast TV to poor video streaming. But to my surprise of Ratings.com , the LG out put lag was about 64 ms on 4k HDR compared to 90 ms for the Sony , otherwise everything goes to Sony side in terms of quality. Opinions please.
This is standard practice nowadays by some manufacturers.

Very Similar to Pentile subpixel arrangement used by Samsung in their OLEDs.

People should also point out that current generation Galaxy S7 and Note 7, dont have real 1440p screens.

Update:

I am re-inclined towards the LG UH850V /8500 series , after contacting LG HQ in MENA / Jordan and reading users feedback mainly from Avsforum.com (http://www.avsforum.com/forum/166-lcd-flat-panel-displays/2326849-official-lg-55-60-65-uh8500-thread.html)

1- It has a True 10 bit (not 8 bit + dithering) Panel since it a must for HDR Dobly Vision to be supported to has this perquisite , / the difference between 8 bits and 10 bits is enormous, with 8-bit color allowing for a total of only 16.8 million color mixes and only 257 possibly values for any one of the primary digital display colors –Red Green and Blue (RGB). While this sounds enormous, 10-bit color allows for just over 1 billion different colors and 1024 different values for any of the RGB colors (http://4k.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-new-4k-tvs-of-2016-from-samsung-to-lg-sony-and-vizio-14496-2/)

2- It has RGB and not RGBW Panel (Pseudo 4k) that the lower UH6100, UH6500 and UH7500 has.

3-It supports Full HDR supporting (Wide Color Gamut) ,Colour Gamut (DCI P3) is 90% , which is very good compared to 2015 model from different brands and the advertised unit by Hamdan Samung KU 8350 , there is a difference between basic HDR support and Ultra Premium HDR Support (the KU series in an entry level HDR (Samusng Calls it HDR Premium) for Samsung 2016 Lines which are great in Value but not fully fledged)

4-It supports Full 1080p for Each eye in 3D Mode - Passive 4K 3D TV , and not 1,920x540 pixels (Higher Models on Sony and Samung on Supports Active 3D.

5- Reasonable Input Lag even on 2160p HDR enabled.

I was leaning towards the Samsung JS7000 series which the "son" of JS9000 having quantum dot screen and Ultra Premium Certified and great in prive value , but sadly either this model or 8 JS 8 series are available.

With those specs confirmed about the LGUH850V with discrepancies eliminated , the value/features of this model is great compared to Sony / Samung 4k Ultra Premium GDR Premium (I am pointing to Sony X850/800D Models that has a similar price range while the JS 9000/9500 Samsung offers are awesome but with price ranges that put them against OLED Models like the LG E6.

I will look for Panasonic mainly the DX 802B and DX 702B , as an final overview.
Don't forget that 3D from PC is limited to 720p, it's not a TV limitation now that HDMI is 2.0 but Nvidia, they want to sell their 3D monitors
Re-update:

It seems that the LGuh850V/LGuh8000 has a 8 bit panel + dithering , as such the results on Rtings.com 10bit Color Gradient pattern isn't displayed perfectly when fed with a 10bit signal , while the Sony X800D (which now I am considering) excelled in this test and with a wider HDR Color Gamut along with a very low input lag , as such it is a great replacement with a true 10 Bit display according to Rtings, com.
Is the LG you are talking about the 1500$ 65 inch tv currently at khoury home?
chosen2k wroteIs the LG you are talking about the 1500$ 65 inch tv currently at khoury home?

I think Last time I visited the show room (two weeks ago) - Khoury has the uh850v (2016 Line) for either 2000 USD or 1500 USD - I don't remember the exact price. Which is the exact TV iam talking about. However, Khoury Home technical sales persons do not know any thing about the 8 bit vs 10 bit panel issue. The looks of the TV and smart features are great , buy Sony x800d/x850d line are more accurate in color reproduction especially in the HDR mode along with better upscaling and true 10 bit panels.
Bro keep calm and wait that Sony Lebanon brings the X800D :)
Perhaps you will get a PS Plus as package, but you have to wait

I bought the 65uh850v for 2100$ lg nahr el mot. I have very mixed feelings towards this tv before and after buyingit. I liked the fact that i ditched my chinese receiver from the cable guy using one remote. I liked the multiple view used to be called pic in pic. I liked the live playback and recording. I liked and hated the pic. Dont ask me how. The backlight 3am b neizi3 :) . White bleeding is an issue. Somehow the motion and movies are clear. Hdr content is ok due to 8 bit panel but it is still ok. On the 950 the hdr is clearer dont expect bettter colors . I've trsted both. Not worth the additional 500$.

Congratulation mate. Oh that is a bit overpriced , I did a probing tour towards Khoury Home 2 days ago and they have the 65Uh850V less than that. I will most probably go with A Sony x800D or I will pay more and go with a Samsung KS8000 or 8500. None are released till now in Lebanon , hopefully on New Year I will get some good news, since Sony (Fattal) has only the 55 inchs X 850D , x970 D and Samung has the KS 9500 Series , Khoury on its new order they told me they will include the 65UH850v , they do have the Lg 950 series but I guess it is overpriced compared to competitors from Sony X940D or Samsung KS 9500. I think you should have gone with the Samsung 55 inch KS 9500 @ 2500 USD that features a true 10 bit panel , and an LG OLED like the E6 or B6 or C6 are great alternatives too.

The Reasons why I did not went with the u850V from LG:

Not a 10 bit Panel , 8bit + dithering = some color banding issues on HDR and less P3 Color Space Coverage for Wide Color Gamut compared to Native 10 Bit Panels.

3 HDMI Inputs , only One accepts 4k HDR or 4K HDR 4 4 4 Single.

For gaming , I seek a low input Lag and on 4K HDR the Lg UH 850V reports approximately 65- 70ms.

Sony / Samsung Up-scalers are more versatile.

You are completely right. But I have a different point of view when I bought this tv I was looking for all the features including passive 3d. To be honest I never looked into sony since I saw these tvs on khoury home are very pricey(as I remember), despite the tempting Android OS.
And as i mentioned before,I tested the differences between the 850 and 950 with hdr 10bits movies (not dolby vision) I didn't find a huge difference if any (knowing about the panels made me skeptical but couldn't confirm the difference). I recommend you redoing that test with a 10bit hdr movie (not dolby vision, an hdr notification should appear while starting the sample). I would like to get some feedback from you regarding this. not sure about sony but lg supports both hdr formats unlike other TVs and you'll probably hate that your new tv is not capable of playing all formats.

For me, this tv is temporary, I am buying some time till Oled comes way cheaper. HDR oled is the ultimate solution.
