aliessayli2, did you hear from CTC? I still didn't.

They confirmed my order yesterday and the color I chose and told me that they will check if they can give me the dual sim since they have very limited quantity, and like we know that I can get the phone on 26 august and whatnot
Oh, I meant did they confirm that you can switch to Duos. They didn't call me back to tell me. I think I will call tomorrow morning if they don't today.

No they didn't confirm that yet, I don't mind it a lot so I'm not pursuing it.
Duos is a dream for me, because my line is Touch and I have no 3G/4G at work with Touch but with Alfa it's full strength signal. So usually I hotspot to my iPhone to get data at work, with Duos you can just have both SIMs in and use whichever for data and the other for voice or sms and so on. It's very convenient.
Anandtech Nailed the Note 7 review , I like this website: very technical and comprehensive.

Any S7 Edge owner is a waste of money to upgrade to the Note 7 , the Iris scanner seem to be not very reliable (but a plus for Samsung innovation sure) , the battery life comes in short to the S7 Edge (relatively lower battery capacity of the Note 7 , -100 mAh) , performance comes in par (same ship in both Sanpdragon and Exynos).

Note 7 Advantages:
1st HDR Screen in the mobiles market
Corning Gorilla Glass 5 instead of 4
Comes 64GB Internal (Default) with Expansion.
They just called me and told me I will get the dual sim

To me the real advantages are the symmetrical design (it feels much better in the hand), the palm rejection on the edge screen is better on the Note 7, and the 'edge' itself is smaller than the one on the S7 edge. The battery life is the same on both devices. I guess upgrading from an S7 edge isn't necessary at all but it's still an upgrade.

It seems like Gorilla Glass 5 is more prone to scratches than GG4, however more shatter resistant.

yep, I don't know why they did that but I guess we're not going anywhere without screen protectors
pre-order offer no longer available from samsung ctc if you didn't already pre-order you missed it.
one thing I noticed is that they are telling people on the facebook page that the arrival date is september 2, I really hope they didn't screw us, will call on monday to verify
Its possible, the launch was pushed back in many countries because of the insane demand
Hey!

iPhone is better.....

*grabs popcorn*

:p
It's better for daily usage because it's faster, less fragmented and generally just more fluid than Android. I use both platforms and it's really obvious both have their advantages and disadvantages. However, and this is just my opinion, a jailbroken iPhone is even better than customizing Android.
Better is a relative term. Swift and Objective-C are obviously going to be faster than "java -> bytecode -> ELF executables with ART".
In all fairness though, ART makes Android close on modern hardware.
As ART matures, Android phones and Iphones will reach equal performance on similar spec hardware. It will be down to taste or other factors such as customization ability.
A machine such as the Galaxy Note 7 is likely future proof for a while in terms of incremental improvements in Android.

Note 7 embarrassing performance (Xda-developers)
yeah I saw this yesterday, I was excited to use samsung at last after I saw everywhere that touchwiz is improved but this post destroyed my dreams.
I got a reply from samsung and they approved that there was a delay in the shipment, september 2 is the new date, classic lebanon.
