are there any cheaper options than the 610$ custom pcb?
Pcandparts has EVGA Founder Edition (Special Order)
eVGA 08G-P4-6170-KR GeForce GTX1070 Founders Edition 8GB GAMING Whisper Silent Cooling Graphics Card (Special Order) $488.00
Well mate its actually 488 × 1.1 = 534 USD , But I went through custom PCB of the gaming X :

Overclocked Out of the Box
Nicer Looks with the Black/ReD theme
Better Cooling (Overhead to OC More)
Fully new pcb
The Founder Edition has some fan problems
Immediate Availability with a Full Year Local Warranty (Special Orders Need 25 Days to arrive)

Thus to me it worth the USD 610 - 534 = USD 76 ;)
100% agree, but he asked for another options, sadly that's the only cheaper option.
Grow some principles and boycott these opportunistic sellers (1500$ iphone, 900$ VGA, etc...)
Highway robbers with silver tongues are not your friends.
In any sane place, these people would be the last resort, frowned upon, and hopefully running out of business, their strategy is anti long term customer loyalty, but they seem to flourish in Lebanon; the place where the moteur repair guy is the building's best friend because he secretly increased your load for a 20,000 LL bribe.
Warranty? Do you really think they have a return policy with whatever USA online website they bought it from? Or that they will accept the 500$ loss because they gave you their word? They just say it to make you not suspect that there might be something wrong with this piece (not that there IS actually anything wrong with it, but it might, you never know).

The only place I buy from is pcandparts no matter how long they need to deliver, respectable people, logical prices.
Alot of shit always gets spoken about pcandparts, that they put items that are not in stock, that their warranty is bull (their RMA is real went through it hassle-free 2 times already). After a long analysis, the conclusion is that they have a huge database to update, and most of their business is drop-shipping (google it); yes sometimes you build your PC on paper only to find out from their email reply that 1 piece of this super pc is actually out of stock; yes it is frustrating, but workable.
The rest of the sellers are not better if: they have 10% of pcandparts' choices, 30% more expensive, but do a better job at updating the stock count.

Give your money to people who deserve it or keep getting robbed, every year.

I do like pcandparts a lot but I have to disagree with you, while the number of stores that offers good variety of items for good prices - is very low you still can find better options than pcandparts in another stores, examples:

* When I first built my pc I needed a low cost headphones/mouse/keyboard with a decent performance, pcandparts had no options, I went for Macrotronics and got an A4Tech Bloody setup of V8MA mouse, B120 Keyboard and G500 headset, all for around 90$, they served me well, only the headset broke after hitting it roughly raging to some lag :)

* Recently I wanted to buy a notebook for someone, I found Lenovo Ideapad 700 (i7-16gb-1tb-128gb_ssd-gtx950m) for 1044$ (special price for 2 days only) with 1 year warranty at pcandparts, same notebook with wireless mouse and lenovo carrying bag with 3 years of warranty costs 1100$ at Macrotronics, I regret not getting it from them because of the 3 years warranty

Lets not forget that Macrotronics ships any order above 300$ for free, in case it is a big order it might cost me 17$ to ship it to Tripoli.

This Is the "sterotype" and belief I used to believe that PC&Parts has the most comprehensive list of parts & best prices. Well frankly it is wrong.

Draw Back 1 :PC&Parts Doesnot do special orders , unless he states specific items as "special orders " example you cannot pick any thing on Amzaon for example and tell them to order to you a smilar item while SpotNet Does as an example. I need a k70 LUX and I dont want to enter the hustle of shipment , PC&Parts doesnot order it for me for example.

Draw Back 2: The ASUS ROF Swift Pg279Q is not availabe in stock only the older Tn version (Pg278q) and the 4k Pg27aq - I sent them an Email they say N/A- Meanwhile ASUS distributors has it & wide available at stock and attained per oder.

Product List/Pricing: Listing a wide arrange of products on the website doesnot mean they are exclusive and have the largest variety - many shops I know doesnot have any website & they can order any part PC&Parts has (From Distributors that sell PC&Parts) , Same Source with competing prices. For Example PC&Parts offered me a lump sum on a products' I ordered (I assumed that Only PC&Parts has Corsair cloosed loops , NZXT , HUE + ... ) I sent the same list to GCS and suprisingly they offered me the same products' with less lump sum.

Replenshing of Products: Same as other shops , not available at Major Distributors = N/A at PC&Parts List even till now they didnot place a shipment of the 1070s/1080s.

MSI GTX 1070 Gaming: On Newegg it is listed for USD 440 , I got it at 610 USD ~ (610 - 440)/440 = 38% increase with VAT , shipment , and Profit Margin.Let us see what PC&Parts price hopefully not available on stock in September lol.

No Drop & Visit the shop - blind assembly , which I hate.
@Tech Guru:
1- while it is true you may find cheaper products in other shops, it is not about 1 or 2 products, it is about the general average, I think on average pc&parts has the lowest prices, and their service is good, which is why the "stereotype" exists, and by how much was the lump sum less, anything less than $20-$30 on high end expensive products is not really worth the extensive search, the tried and works is a good enough way to go, also it is always easier to get products from 1 shop, easier for warranty, and you gain credibility and trust. "Stereotypes" have a reason they get to become so , it is worth years of hard earned trust to get there. main point I wanted to make 1 product does not change the general concept
The 1070 spotnet has is ~ $850, in comparison pc&parts is much less, and even with the msi one pc&parts still less (~$540)

2- which brings me to my second idea, why choose the msi open air version over the founders edition blower. It is 100mhz OC in OC mode, why not a founders edition and overclock to whatever you want yourself - isn't that the point of "No Drop & Visit the shop - blind assembly , which I hate." the founders edition is the company one which you meddle with yourself, and not get it blindly reworked from another manufacturer! also the vapor chamber is one of the best cooling system available, why use 2 fans instead?

Spotnet is an absolute rip off. I asked how much the 1080 is, they said $1300. My reply was literally "lol wtf". I can get a Titan X With $100 to spare. This country is a joke.

man just save yourself the trouble and get one from dubai. But make sure it's a brand with good customer service.Part of the reason that I choose evga is that they have a no questions asked replacement policy.
Agian if you like PC&Parts this doesnot make it the best shop in Lebanon , it is just a perception & I dealt with them a lot :). I did not say Spotnet Prices are well priced but they do special order & the K70 LUX is for USD 250 , on New Egg it is for 150 USD , so some parts are good to have by paying an extra 100 USD with no hustle of shipment instead of getting a Razor keyboard at least for me. Again a 70 difference between Founder Ed. & gaming X to me simply worth it
if anyone wants anything from dubai, im coming over in september.
local shop next to my house (multitech) said he will have the gtx 1070 msi in 3 days, and its price is gonna be under 600$, he will know the exact price when he gets it...

All the places seem to be saying "we will have them in stock in 3 days", Mojitech, GSC and Microtechstore. Guess there's a shipment coming in.

GSC & Mactronics has them already - Maybe the 2nd shipment will be a bulk shipment for several stores across Lebanon and has a lower price tag. But it is still ambiguous why PC&Parts didnot list till now "coming soon" or anything about soon availability - except for Founder Ed. Special Orders.

That's what he meant with "Special Order"
the guy called me and said the price will be $615.00 for gtx 1070 msi
5 days later
Dear wait for the EVGA GeForce FTW better specs (1797 MHz) and better cooling, all card should go 80$ down in a month anyway
